These will be informal, journal entry style discussions about the readings, films, or any material we have discussed during the week- what is the main theme, idea, and argument of the reading? What does it say about gender relations in South Asia? What does it say about the political institutions, and systemic oppression? What does the reading tell you about religious institutions? What does the reading tell you bout ethnic identities, and class? Why is it relevant to understanding gender identities and women’s lives in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh? Feel free to bring in your experiences, knowledge and observations about the issues under discussion. You can use first person narrative, and a casual style. Your response can be a series of questions that emerge from your readings.

Responses likely to receive check pluses are 800 words, have direct quotations, descriptions of scene, and analysis- these essays don’t just summarize, but ANALYZE and discuss, critique, or question the material. They may incorporate personal reflections, previous knowledge, and also questions. The reading can lead to questions, perplexing concepts that the essay can address and give voice to. Essays may also critique the material and show light on its gaps, shortcomings.

What if it were possible to use the product of conception to revolutionize modern medicine?

I need a paper on stem cell research ASAP. Here is a sample outline:
Introduction: What if it were possible to use the product of conception to revolutionize modern medicine?
Current Problem: There is a very prevalent conversation about whether or not stem cell research is an ethical practice. This prevents researchers from being able to obtain their funding and limits the types of experiments that they can try.
Population/Area of Focus: research institutions, organized religious groups, biomedical engineers and other scientist.
Key Terms: Stem cell research, embryonic,
Thesis Statement: Stem cell research is an essential method to studying the development of diseased cells as organic tissue grows, the use of stem cells to cure disease, and how stem cells can effectively test the safety of new drugs. The use of stem cells in the practice of medicine is a safe, effective, and ethical practice.
Background.
Overview: a hypothesis was formed about stem cell research that related to the ability of stem cells to explain how diseases and birth defects happen in utero.
Current Research: Stem cell research and evolved over the past 50 years and has now become a more common practice, however it is still a very controversial topic.
Gaps in the Research: additional applications of stem cell research are limited by government restrictions.
Applications of stem cell research
Applications of stem cells on injured tissue
Applications in programming and regenerating specific types of organic tissue.
Allowing stem cell research to continue could open up the possibilities of curing more diseases.
Stem cells can replace or adapt to new types of tissue
Government Policy as it Relates to Stem Cell Research
Stem cell practices are limited by government regulations and public policy
This limits the possible findings of the research
Types of stem cells
Embryonic Stem cells and their applications
Adult stem cells and their application.
mesenchymal stem cells and their impact on modern medicine
Ethical considerations
Viewpoint of religious organizations
View from various cultures
Government policy from state, federal, and different country point of view.
VII. Conclusion
Restatement of Thesis:In order to evolve into the next level of medical technology the research techniques need to be allowed to be perfected and well documented to reach the full potential of stem cell practices. There are many safe and effective application in stem cell research and many more possibilities that need to be explored.

discussing why it is important for health care managers and policymakers to understand the intricacies of the health delivery system.

Typed using 12 point font (Times New Roman)
• Double spaced with 1″ margins all around
• Pages numbered on all pages except title page
• References are not required. However, if References are used, put them on a page to
themselves as the final page (not included in the page limit). Use APA style for your
citations.
• Quotations should be very punctual and not full paragraphs from your sources. You need
to include a precise link (URL) to the cited reference when the reference is from the
Internet and not only to the general page where the reference is located.
• Be error free – make sure you do a spell check and grammar check before submitting!

In The Apology, Socrates is often considered to be speaking truth to power which is an action which leads to his death. Discuss whether this could happen in today’s world or was it unique to Socrates time? Are there countries in the world where such things happen regularly? Could it happen in the United States? What do we do to people in the modern world who protest the values and ideals of their society? How would Socrates charge us with living an examined life in today’s world?

Part 2.
Consider Plato’s conception of the soul and its tripartite nature. How does Plato demonstrate that this view of the soul can lead to a theory of justice and morality? Do you think Plato is right when he argues that it is better to live as a just person than an unjust one, or is Thrasymachus right when he argues that morality is for losers?
Feel free to bring in some examples from modern life to illustrate your argument.

General education classes should be cheaper than prerequisite classes

A policy speech due tonight. Use citations internally and on the reference page. Like you would do in an essay. This means that when you write a claim that you think needs support, you cite the source right there, like here (Martinez 2017) We ask for outlines not because they are shorter, but because they ‘force’ you to be structured and focused. And since you are submitting it in writing, the outline should be very detailed anyway. About 600-800 words

Data Journalism

For this assignment, you will write a news story that is approximately 400 – 500 words long using the information in the following files:
1. Food, Exercise and Alcohol Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic
(Links to an external site.)

2. Interview notes: Angelica Latour
download

3. Interview notes: David Jaymes
download

4. Interview notes: Akash Singh
download

5. Alcohol and COVID-19: What you need to know (PDF)
download

6. Healthy Weight
(Links to an external site.)
(including subpages such as Finding a Balance
(Links to an external site.)
), CDC
You will not need to use all of the statistics, facts, or quotes provided to write a solid article. In fact, you SHOULD NOT include everything. Deciding what needs to be included and what does not is part of the challenge!
Remember to use the inverted pyramid structure, putting the most important fact first and then continuing in reverse order of importance.
Your story should use the inverted pyramid style and be written for a general audience. It must be accurate, well organized, and use concise language. It must use the proper tone for a news piece and not include your opinion, as the journalist.
It must also include these key elements:
Two headlines, one long (maximum of 94 characters) and one short (maximum of 64 characters);
A lead paragraph and inverted pyramid structure;
Proper Associated Press style, grammar, word usage and spelling;
At least two quotes from the human sources above that are properly formatted;
Data and analysis of the data from the sources above.

M5 – Discussion: Therapeutic Jurisprudence

M5 – Discussion: Therapeutic Jurisprudence–due by last day of term on 8/27!
Justin Monge talks about his life outside the Tipton Correctional Center, as he sits in the visting area of the prison in Tipton Mo. Officials at the prison hope that their effort to prepare prisoners for life outside the prison walls will keep them from coming back. (AP Photo/L.G. Patterson).
Your adult brother, Sonny Skyes, suffers from a mental impairment and has been jailed a number of times for minor crimes in your small community. Some of them involve inappropriate behavior toward children. Unhappy with his behavior, a group of community residents has organized, demanding that he be “put away before something really serious happens.” Out of concern, you have joined a state-wide association that advocates for the mentally impaired. One of its platforms advocates therapeutic jurisprudence for those with mental impairments. You want to investigate this approach in order to better inform those in your community.
What is meant by this term?
How does it differ from the traditional legal approach to criminal behavior?
If you were to give a community presentation on treatment programs, what information would you want to impart about programs that divert persons with mental impairments from the criminal justice system to community treatment?
What is needed for those with mental impairments re-entering the community from jail or prison?
What things are needed in order to ensure the success of such programs, and what role would mental health courts and re-entry courts play in all of this?
What criticisms of these kinds of programs should you expect to encounter?
Guidelines
Using the material from the assigned text, address some of these questions in an initial post of about 250 words, and respond to my questions or the posts of other students at least twice. A good discussion requires participation by all students throughout the discussion period. Note: You will not receive credit if you post only in the last few days of the discussion period.

Health Related Fitness

In Chapter 7 Physiological Changes: Health Related Physical Fitness are discussed. Cardiovascular Endurance is one of the components of Health Related Fitness and can be improved through training. However, research evidence has been contradictory regarding the benefits of training for improving cardiovascular endurance in preadolescent children. Explain why some experts in the field propose that cardiovascular endurance training is not recommended for this age group.

Martin Luther King Jr and Jean-Paul Sartre Writings on Freedom

Here are the issues that needs to made on the paper that I have attached:

You need to
beef up your thesis statement. Spell out what you’ll be addressing (both sides)
concisely. Also your citations are vague. You mention King and then the date.
Is that from the letter from birmingham jail? Just say that and what page. Also
on Sartre, I do not recognize a source at all. You throw a name in there, but
was that assigned? I don’t see anything from 13 Theories textbook. That is the assigned
material. You can bring this home and as I said, your writing is solid but you
are not at an A here. But you’ve got some solid opinion here, no doubt. But
somethings need straightened out as I mentioned.
