Discuss strategies a human services professional could use for this particular crisis that would promote resilience within the family, individual, or group.

Examine the resilience theory and see how individuals, families, and groups experience resilience when faced with a challenging situation. Analyze how constructs of the resilience theory are used to promote resilience in a specific crisis situation.
Reconnection and Reconciliation for parents and children after parents experience abuse directed at them by their adult children with drug problems.
Please respond to the following in the 5-6 page essay:
Analyze resilience theory by explaining salient points of this theoretical construct.
Using reconnection and reconciliation, identify potential risk factors that could impede upon a family’s ability to be resilient if faced with this particular crisis.
Using the same crisis, discuss strategies a human services professional could use for this particular crisis that would promote resilience within the family, individual, or group.
In this final part, analyze how the strategies used to promote resiliency are reflective of at least one construct of the resilience theory. (Example: pacing reorganization of a family after the death of a loved one is reflective of the process-oriented perspective (interaction of individual with environment) of the resilience theory).

Does the observer experience a catharsis, as described by Aristotle when watching this film?

Option Two – Film: Transformation
Step One: Watch both of these videos: Tragedy Lessons from Aristotle: Crash Course Theater and A Character Has 4 Pivotal Moments To Change
Step Two: Write a four-paragraph essay about one movie–preferably your favorite–that you watched in which you learned from the transformation the main character (whether the hero or villain).
1. In the first paragraph:
Provide the title, date, and director of the film, as well as a brief summary of the film in your own words.
2. In the second paragraph:
Choose one character. Describe the character before his/her/their transformation.
3. In the third paragraph:
· Describe the exact scene or scenes when the character transforms him, her, themselves.
· Describe the obstacles he/she/they overcome.
· Is there a recognition or reversal as described by Aristotle? If so, describe.
· What were the lessons learned by the character?
5. In the fourth paragraph:
· Does the observer experience a catharsis, as described by Aristotle when watching this film?
· What can an observer learn about the character and the transformation? Provide examples
using scenes in the film.
· Did the character’s transformation relate to your own life? If so, how?
· Can you apply any of the lessons learned to your own life? If so, how?

Discuss the need for detailed project planning in the design of an evidence-based practice change project.

This paper will be made up of first, second, third and
fourth level headings using APA 7th edition. Under each level
heading, you need at least one paragraph. A paragraph is made up of at least
three sentences. A paragraph should have a lead sentence and generally only
describe or discuss a single idea or topic. A paragraph is not a collection of
unrelated sentences offering a myriad of different topics and ideas. Please do
not write using bullets. Please make sure this does not read like a Q&A
pamphlet with a brief response under each heading. Clearly introduce each topic
first before you begin your response for your project.

Content needed in
each section of the paper:
Introduction: (under
the title)
Include a brief description of your problem;
brief description of your evidence base;
and the purpose of THIS paper (e.g., describe the project
implementation plan and plan for evaluation of an EBP project…)

Detail on Project Plan: -this is where you will begin
to describe your project
In this section briefly
discuss the need for detailed project planning in the design of an
evidence-based practice change project.
Use your textbook from NUR704 to support your discussion.

Detail on Planned
Setting:
Describe your site again but this time include specifically
where the practice change will occur (e.g. conference room in neuro-ICU)

Detail on Planned Participants and planned recruitment
steps:
You need to be specific and detailed. The discussions you present here should match
the section of your IRB proposal that addresses the same content. How will they
be invited to participate, where will you find them, how will they let you know
if they are willing/interested, and how will they indicate consent.

Detail on Planned Implementation Steps for your
intervention:
You need to be specific and detailed. The discussions you present here should match
the section of your IRB proposal that addresses the same content.

Detail on Planned High Level Goals (can be long term
beyond the length of your project plan):
In this section briefly
describe the goal(s) of your project.
Your goals will not be measured and should reflect the long range, high
level purpose of your project.

Detail on Planned Measurable Outcomes (at the end of
the implementation in 799):
In this section briefly
describe the specific outcomes associated with your project. Your outcomes are what you expect to measure
(e.g. rates if infection). The outcomes should link to the problem.

Detail on Plan for Evaluation of Project Effectiveness:
In this section briefly introduce
the need for planning for project evaluation in the design of an evidence-based
practice change project. Use your
textbooks from NUR704 to support your discussion.

Detail on Planned demographic data collection (what data will you collect):
In this section thoroughly describe the plan for
collecting and analyzing your selected demographic points. Keep in mind the purpose of demographic
data is to describe your participant group only. This section of your paper
should discuss:
·
The specific data
points you will be collecting (e.g., age, gender, etc).
·
Your plan for
collecting the demographic data (e.g., surveys on a pre-test).
·
Your plan for
analyzing the collected demographic data (e.g., a mean and a range will be
calculated for age, percentage will be calculated for gender, etc.).

Detail on Planned outcome data collection (if more
than one outcome then describe each one separately):
In this section
thoroughly describe the plan for collecting and analyzing the data associated
with your identified outcome(s). For
each outcome separately describe:
·
Reintroduce the
identified outcome named above (increase in medication adherence, etc.).
·
The tool/data
source that will be used, if applicable to collect data (e.g., Self-Efficacy
for Diabetes Scale, chart review, etc.).
·
The approach you
will use to analyze the data meaning (e.g., descriptive statistics to calculate
pre and post means, percent change, etc.).
·
The benchmark(s)
that will be set as a goal for outcome attainment (e.g., 20% increase in
medication adherence, etc). if it makes sense for you to have one
·
Repeat the above for
each additional outcome. Label the outcomes as Outcome 1, Outcome 2, etc. In
some cases, students may have a secondary outcome, such as satisfaction, if
they plan on administering an evaluation survey, etc.

Detail on Plan for data management In this section
thoroughly describe how you will:
·
Protect
confidentiality (e.g., random codes).
·
How data will be
stored and kept secure (e.g., excel spreadsheet on password protected
computer).
·
Who will have
access to the data (e.g., only the project manager and on request the faculty
advisor).
The content you present
here should match the section of your IRB proposal that addresses the same
content.

Conclusion (summarize
main purpose of the paper and key aspects of the project implementation steps and
evaluation steps)

Write a six to eight page ethnographic analysis of the one of the films listed above.

The assignment is not as easy as it may appear. It is neither a movie review nor an opportunity to make socio-political judgments. Each of these films presents a culture and/or people traveling between cultures and creating new ones. Your task is to be an ethnographer as you watch one of them, and to report your findings.
This means that you must evaluate the information based on cultural relativism, doing your best to be non-judgmental and to understand the culture(s) from the emic (interior) point of view. In a brief film (as opposed to two years of real ethnographic field work), that information is incomplete (though many ethnographers feel the same way even after two years). You will have to extrapolate, speculate, or admit lack of information in some areas.
This assignment will be an ethnographic analysis on three levels.
First, describe the culture(s) on the basis of the categories from your textbook and class, including economy, modes of communication, symbolic communication, kinship, marriage, gender, political systems, power relations, religion, and art. What are the larger processes (if any) which affect the culture(s) which you are encountering, e.g. colonialism or globalization? Obviously, you can not cover all of these areas, so you must make choices based on what you are most interested in or what you consider most significant.
Second, describe the viability of the culture(s) presented in the film, and reflect on what may be missing in order to enable the culture to reproduce itself into the future. For example, the all-male monastery in Name of the Rose needs a surrounding culture to reproduce human beings; many of the other films show cultural/political tensions which must be resolved in order for the society to survive into future generations. Keep in mind that the resolutions may not be ideal or fair; for instance, resistance to an unequal balance of power may result in a more egalitarian situation, or in the creation of a permanent underclass.
Third, because you are viewing culture through the lens of a camera, you need to go beyond encountering a culture directly. The movie makers created this film for a reason, and they have created a narrative in order to tell a story and create a certain understanding in the viewer (you). Make some observations on what you think was their purpose in making this film, how it may affect the audience

(for instance, would it confirm a viewer’s prejudices or expand his or her understanding of others?), or how it could be more thoroughly descriptive.
Write a six to eight page ethnographic analysis of the one of the films listed above. Follow the mechanical criteria listed in the Essay Writing Guide on the website for this class.

Discuss the lived experiences of young adults with sickle cell disease and acquiring healthcare.

the topic is the lived experiences of young adults with sickle cell disease and acquiring healthcare. Focusing on the transition of young adults age 21-35 transitioning from adolescent to adult care is the gap. This proposal will need someone who writes on a PhD level, good with research in healthcare and mathematical statistics as this is a secondary data collection study. The writer will need to write the attached proposal over in a quantitative design, it is currently written in a qualitative design. Research questions, topic, problem statement, datae collection, etc all will need to be reflectiong a quantitative design. Instructions are as follows:
THE WRITER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHANGING THE TITLE TO A

IN A CROSS SECTIONAL OR RETROSPECTIVE QUANTITATIVE DESIGN PAPER. CHAPTER 4
NEEDS TO BE WRITTEN WHICH IS THE RESULTS and FINDINGS using STATISTICAL
ANALYSIS FROM THE SECODARY DATA YOU COLLECTED IN CHAPTER 3. You do not have to
do a cross sectional/retrospective quantitative design; any quantitative design
is fine as long as it’s secondary data because no information will be submitted
to participants as there are no participants for this study. All data is
secondary and statistical analysis (SPSS) should be used to complete chapters 3
and 4. Chapter 5 is the conclusion. Abstract needs to be completed as well.

What negatives/positives arise from maintaining traditional gender roles in American families?

The thesis of this essay revolves around the traditional roles of an average american family (mother takes care of children, father is the breadwinner) and how this practice is dated and unhealthy for the modern world. Equality is becoming more prevalent in today’s society, and that means that men can be more involved in the caretaking of home and children, and women can explore more full time careers and such. This interchangable opportunity has really reflected our growing as a society. In different cultures, traditional gender roles are highly revered and are still practiced to this day, entailing something of value and/or success.

I just need an annotated bibliography for the sources used in this essay.

Describe the symptoms of a patient with a neurological or psychiatric disorder.

Describe the symptoms of a patient with a neurological or psychiatric disorder. From the descriptions, you will determine neuroanatomic localization and a diagnosis along with your rationale. Your thought process and rationale is more important than the correct diagnosis.

CLINICAL VIGNETTE INSTRUCTIONS
You will choose 6 of the following 11 clinical vignettes. You may discuss your work with others, but your written work should be completely your own. Please include references in your answer (use APA style). Internet references are fine, but please use good judgment for credible sources. Compare what you find on the internet with other resources such as journal articles or text books or check the references the website used. Check the credentials of the author or organization (remember, anyone can write a webpage or edit wikipedia, also certain organizations have agendas and present biased data to support their cause/product). Government websites such as health.nih.gov, MedlinePlus, or PubMed are good resources as are hospital information sites such as the Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic. Please don’t bug your friend the doctor or nurse.
Generally, all information necessary has been provided in each case. In some instances, information has been withheld if it would make the diagnosis overly obvious (e.g. MRI showed large tumor in X; spinal MRI showed a herniated disc at Y; genetic testing showed the person had the gene for Z). If you are completely stumped or read a dead-end, talk to me and I will let you know if there is any additional information. There will also be many medical terms that you will not likely recognize. Once again, an internet search can be useful.
Remember that the thought process and rationale is the most important aspect. In the following example, I identified the neuroanatomical location and the relevant symptoms. I then used a process of elimination to decide on the best diagnosis. You do not have to come to the correct diagnosis. Instead, you just need to show that you made a logical conclusion. It is fine if you give several possibilities (e.g., damage to the prefrontal cortex is likely though without further tests, it is hard to determine if the damaged was caused by a stroke, tumor, or other brain injury).

Write a brief to inform the school board on the conditions and root problems.

Write a brief to inform the school board on the conditions and root problems. This is a major issue in many states and districts/politicians have a poor understanding of it. This brief should have a minimum of 6 credible works that are cited (from peer-reviewed journals–use the library or google scholar), use APA format (generally), and recommend strategies for dealing with it.
This research will give you the foundation to advocate for a particular retention strategy. It will also help you improve your professional writing abilities, which are essential to effectively articulate your point of view.
It should be outlined as follows:
Introduction: Scope of the issue, why it matters, what you are going to show
Literature Review: Synthesize research on the issue, identify the problems
Policy/District Recommendations: What solutions do you recommend based on the literature?
I would recommend focusing on a particular dimension of retention. For example, there are policy aspects (e.g., salary, accountability practices), organization aspects (e.g., working conditions, climate), and social/cognitive aspects (e.g., job satisfaction, expectations, perceived support). While they are all interrelated, pick a dimension to narrow the scope.
Here is an example of a policy brief
