How has Frankenstein been depicted in artwork and film over the years? How do these depictions relate to Shelley’s original work?

How has Frankenstein been depicted in artwork and film over the years? How do these depictions relate to Shelley’s original work? (American Horror Story fans might recognize a familiar storyline from The Coven season)
Your essay should answer the question completing and use cited references to the novel for support. For this essay, you are required to use at least two outside sources in addition to the primary text (Frankenstein). Your essay should include a thorough investigation of the topic as well as evidence from Shelley’s novel to support a relation to the text. Your response should demonstrate that you have read the novel in its entirety (not just the first chapter).

Remember that you do not have to address these prompts in the order they are given. You must decide the organization of your essay and should consider how you might interweave these discussions.
As part of your essay, you may provide a brief summary of Frankenstein (no more than ½ a page in length – imagine that your reader is already familiar with the work). Be sure to refer specifically to the novel and cite specific passages from it (this means you must specifically cite lines/pages/passages from the work).
Always discuss quoted material. Tell your reader what the quoted passages mean to you and explain how they support your argument. You should aim to have no less than five citations from each work, if not more.
You are required to use at least two outside sources (in addition to the primary texts) for this paper. Introduce scholars being referenced and be sure to cite both paraphrased and directly quoted material. Again, discuss any quoted material explaining what it means to you and how it supports your own ideas/analysis.
Research should come from scholarly sources such as published books and journal articles in the library databases. No websites may be used unless I have approved the source in advance. Reference materials (dictionaries, encyclopedias, Wikipediaes) are not college-level sources and should be avoided. I am here to assist you if you cannot locate appropriate sources. Please note that ALL papers in this course require academic research and writing. A paper submission that does not contain research cannot earn a grade higher than a D.

A rose for Emily timeline essay

You will notice this story is not told in chronological order. There is a reason for that. After reading it, make sure you address this reason in your essay. For this essay you will do a timeline (typed) in chronological order on the important events in Emily’s life.
Do NOT use the internet or any outside resources for this assignment.
You will only use information found in the story itself. Use many details and quotations from the story (especially in relation to what even happened in what year or things measures in days or weeks from other events. If I were doing this assignment (and I have) I would do the following:
1. Read the story.
2. Figure out the year Emily was born and died.
3. What event listed in the story happened Emily at what age or year?
4. Note any measurement of time mentioned in the story. Use MLA in text “quotations” each time a point of time is mentioned. For example, here are passages from the story:
“See Colonel Sartoris.” (Colonel Sartoris had been dead almost ten years.) So SHE vanquished them, horse and foot, just as she had vanquished their fathers thirty years before…” (Page 999). “That was two years after her father’s death and a short time after her sweetheart–the one we believed would marry her –had deserted her” (1001).
I have done this assignment, so you will be held to my standard. To do it correctly and in detail it should take you several hours.
Type a 3-5 page timeline. The conclusion will be your character analysis over Emily. Explain in your opinion events in her life that might have contributed to why she did what she did. Give specific details and page numbers from the story to back up your hypothesis. It must be in MLA style, style 12 Times New Roman font.
I have attached a copy of “A Rose for Emily” which might help you with your timeline. Click on this link to download Word Document:

You can use this copy to locate when time is mentioned in the story easier, and copy and paste that information into your timeline. For your timeline, make sure you put it in MLA style as far as the header, heading and Works Cited, but you can use the time examples as bullet points as you put the story in chronological order.
* For all essays in this class we use the MLA examples on the OWL:

See this MLA sample essay on the OWL: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/mla_style/mla_formatting_and_style_guide/mla_sample_paper.htmlLinks to an external site.
Please look at this sample essay and use it as a model for your future essays: Your entire essay including the heading, header and page numbers should be TNR font size 12 and double spaced, just like the sample. Points will be deducted for not using this style. I do this so that you gain experience in following this particular example, and for me to have a consistent sample to evaluate your attention to detail in following the instructions.

Students are expected to create both a Theory of Change Logic Model and a Program Logic Model. Utilizing information gathered from Assignments 1 & 2, students should use “knowledge” to produce assumptions, which will form the foundation of the logic model. Students should be sure to include key elements including resources, activities, outputs, short- and long-term outcomes, and impact. Describe the steps you took to create your logic model, how you considered available resources in your plan, and how you will measure activities to generate outcome data. This assignment should include both a narrative explanation of your programmatic elements in addition to a visual depiction of your logic model (i.e., chart). *Hand in your assignment as a PDF or Word document.

Intervention Project Part 3: Finalize and Present to Stakeholders

Overview
This assignment is Part 3 of your intervention project and is a continuation of Parts 1 and 2, which you completed in Weeks 4 and 7. This week you will finalize your intervention project by adding a few more key details and then synthesize your entire project into a slideshow presentation for decision-making stakeholders. Your goal is to make a case for the validity and sustainability of the proposed intervention.
Scenario
As a school district curriculum leader, you have researched a local issue, determined the root cause of the problem, defined an intervention topic, and created an implementation plan for your chosen intervention. Now it’s time to incorporate strategies for continuous monitoring and funding options to finalize your plan and present it to your decision-making stakeholders. (Note: You may create and/or make all necessary assumptions needed for the completion of this assignment.)
Instructions:
Create a 12–14 slide PowerPoint presentation for decision-making stakeholders providing an overview of how your intervention project was determined, how it will be implemented, and the plan for monitoring it in the future.
• Each slide should be written in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to persuade your audience to adopt your intervention project.
• Each numbered instruction should be on a new slide with a clear title, appropriate graphics, and detailed speaker notes.
o The speaker notes should be written in a persuasive tone as if you are going to read them to the stakeholders while presenting.
Introduction: (after the title slide)
1. Create an introduction for the project that provides a bulleted overview of the intervention project.
Issue and Root Cause (from the Week 4 Assignment):
2. Describe the issue and relevant data from the research of local needs.
3. Summarize the outcome of the root cause analysis including the problem statement.
Implementation Plan (from the Week 7 Assignment):
4. List the four clear, measurable objectives for the intervention.
5. List the required resources and implementation timeline proposed for the for the intervention.
6. Outline the communication plan for the intervention including the target audience, strategies, and key messages.
7. Describe the anticipated impact the intervention could have on local school curriculum and policy including possible barriers to implementation and how those barriers could be mitigated.
Performance Monitoring and Funding (from Weeks 8-10):
8. Share the logic model created in the week 8 activity. Explain how the logic model framework is related to performance monitoring and include one additional strategy for performance monitoring and evaluation.
9. Identify two types of funding used for educational intervention projects and indicate if either of these funding options apply to the project.
Conclusion and Source List:
10. Create a conclusion with three recommendations on the long-term sustainability of the intervention with the goal that it will evolve into a successful program.
11. Create a source list slide.

What is the role of the leader in creating an atmosphere that enables the learning organization?

Learning plays a vital role in the success of organizations. All of the employees in an organization must do their best and work together to help the organization be successful. Peter Senge (2006), in his book titled The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization, indicated the characteristics of a learning organization as follows:
There exists a shared vision that everyone agrees on.
People discard their old ways of thinking and the standard routines that they use for solving problems or doing their jobs.
Members think of all organizational processes, activities, functions, and interactions with the environment as part of a system of inter-relationships.

People openly communicate with each other across vertical and horizontal boundaries without fear of criticism or punishment.
People sublimate their personal self-interest and fragmented departmental interests to work together to achieve the organization’s shared vision.

However, defining a learning organization has always been difficult, as discussed in this video. This video: https://youtu.be/D1iO2QwJYAI
states that without the ability to grow through change, the organization will eventually lose its ability to sustain itself and go out of business. Conduct research on learning organizations by accessing the CTU Library and using a minimum of 3 scholarly articles on the subject matter along with other information derived from other sources.

Focus your discussion on the following:

1. What is the role of the leader in creating an atmosphere that enables the learning organization?
2. In addition to creating the learning organization’s atmosphere, what must the leader do every day within the learning organization to create the optimum conditions to help their team survive and thrive with change?
3. What has occurred in your organization that has led to a successful learning organization?
4. How do the concepts of change management and learning organizations align to form organizations that are able to more readily adapt to their changing environment to improve or sustain their market position and continuously add value to their performance?

Discussion Post 5 JAVA

At the end of our PowerPoint for sorting algorithms I listed a suggested watch titled “The Secret Rules of Modern Living Algorithms”. Again, I really do suggest watching the documentary as it explains some of these concepts in a very digestible manner! However, I am not going to force you to watch the entire thing if you do not want to or have time.

What I am asking of you is to pick one of the timestamped sections from below (A 5 – 15 minute clip) watch that portion of the documentary (From the link up until your topic has ended) and write a brief summary of your thoughts on the subject matter. If none of these clips/topics interest you you may pick from any part of the documentary you wish, but please leave a timestamps / subject from your chosen topic. You have free reign on what you write here, but may wish to include: How you felt about / understood the topic beforehand, : How you feel about / understand the topic now, What part did you like / dislike, why? How was this helpful? And anything else you want to touch on!
