Analysis of the academic nurse educator role

formal narrative paper in APA format that analyzes the role of the academic nurse educator and summarizes a
challenge identified from your interview with the academic nurse educator. The use of current, peer-reviewed
scholarly sources is necessary within the formal paper.

Interenational Relations Theories Paper

Paper 2: IR Theories Paper Deadline: 11:59pm, Monday June 14th. Papers must be submitted through the submission link on Canvas by the deadline. No late papers will be accepted.
In this paper, you will select an international relations event that has occurred in the past five years. Your task will be to use one of the theories of international relations that we examine in the course (realism, neorealism, liberalism, constructivism, or feminism) to explain the international event that you have chosen. In order to receive a satisfactory grade on this paper, it must meet the following criteria:
The paper must be no fewer than 700 words and no more than 1000 words in length
The paper must cite information relevant to your international event from no fewer than two major news sources (major news papers or magazines include sources such as the New York Times, Washington Post, The Economist, BBC News, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, etc.). The sources used must be cited at the end of your paper and do not count toward the word length requirement.
The paper must provide an overview of the international relations event describing what has occurred in the event.
The paper must use one of the following theories of international relations: realism, neorealism, liberalism, constructivism, or feminism to explain the occurrence the international relations event that you have chosen.
The paper must evaluate how well the theory that you have chosen to explain your international relations event does in explaining the event.
Papers with a large number of grammatical errors or those that are insufficiently understandable will receive an unsatisfactory grade.

Microbiology Lab Report – Spore and Capsule Stain

Note: This lab report is turned in after you have
viewed the slides for both the spore stain and the capsule stain (sometimes the
capsule stain is done as a demonstration but you are responsible for looking at
a capsule stain slide and knowing how it is done and important to
remember, we are using the nigrosin stain procedure as described in Ex. 3-5
[negative stain] to stain for capsule!).
Also, this lab has 2 parts which might be done on 2 separate days. When
turning in the lab, make sure you include BOTH
parts. It is turned in after the capsule stain part is completed. (Note: Our lab manual claims endospore has keratin. It
is actually a protein that is keratin-like.)
Bacterium for the spore stain
is: Bacillus subtilis. Bacteria for capsule stain are Enterobacter
aerogenes & S. aureus.

Q1.What
is the function of a bacterial endospore? Hint: How easy is an endospore to destroy? Use
your textbook/lecture notes to help you.
Q2.
Why does this exercise call for use of an older culture of Bacillus? What does a positive result for a spore stain
indicate about the organism? What does a negative result for the spore stain
indicate about the microorganism?
Q3.
List three specific functions
of capsules. Use your textbook/lecture notes to help you. (Hint: two of these
functions are often listed as functions of various virulence factors). Note: It is not enough to say that it protects
bacteria from the immune system or that it is a virulence factor.
Q4.
In the capsule stain process used in class (using nigrosin), are the bacterial
cells heat-fixed to the slide? Why or why not?
Q5.
Eosin is an acidic red stain and methylene blue is a basic blue dye. What should be the result of staining a smear
of encapsulated bacteria with a mixture of eosin and methylene blue?
Please
note if the capsule is stained or not stained at all.

For
lab exam: you should have a general idea regarding: the bacterial spore cycle
(its different stages).
As
a somewhat related question to Q1, is endospore formation a form of bacterial
reproduction or is it doing something else for the bacteria? Explain your
answer. Also you should understand why
an acidic stain such as nigrosin or eosin, which in many cases is being used
for a negative stain procedure, does not colorize the cells in a bacterial
smear.
As
mentioned in lab, how does India ink work as a negative stain (as compared to
nigrosin).

The Rise of Civilization

World History: Ancient to Renaissance
The Rise of Civilization
Using the textbook and at least two additional sources (books, journal entries, articles), please write a expository essay of at least 750 words to answer the question(s) below. Avoid using Wikipedia, dictionaries, encyclopedias or casual websites as sources.
1. What positive and negative changes did the Neolithic Revolution bring for humans?
2. Consider the development of copper, bronze, and iron. What advantages and disadvantages did each metal offer early civilizations?
For this and all writing assignments for the course, use APA format. This includes proper in-line citations, reference page, and properly formatted references. APA resources, including a template, are provided in the Supplemental Materials folder.

Question B
Based on this weeks readings and presentation, what do you think was the one most important thing these ancient civilizations did or discovered that shaped our modern world today? Do you see this aspect of ancient civilizations in your daily life today? How does it affect you and how you live.

I need a short answer also to this question B

Microbiology Lab Report – Bacterial culture characteristics and Streak plate Method

LAB REPORT 4 –
Selected questions from Exercises 2-2, 2-3, & 2-4 and 1-5 (Bacterial culture characteristics
and Streak plate Methof of isolation & demonstration of pour plate) and
example of table for your results for pigmentation (see Table below)
Note: This lab report is turned
in after you have viewed the results for Exercise on culture and growth
characteristics (done as a demonstration) and streak plating, etc.. . This lab report has 2 parts. .
When turning in the lab, make sure you include information relevant for BOTH parts. For Exercise 1-5,
you may be working as a team to be preparing streak plates and will observe
the professor perform a pour plate method for isolating colonies. You are responsible for making observations
about both the pour plates and streak plates.
For Exercise 2-2,2-3 & 2-4 which is done as a demonstration, questions
will be provided alongside the demonstration cultures to help you make
appropriate observations. Some
additional information may be e-mailed to you.
Some
of the bacteria for these exercises are usually: E. coli, Serratia marcescens, Micrococcus luteus, Bacillus subtilis,
Pseudomonas fluorescens (or
P.aeruginosa), Mycobacterium phlei (or
M. smegmatis) and sometimes S. aureus. If M. smegmatis and/or P. aeruginosa is
used, there will be added explanation.

Exercise
1-4 results: Draw your results for your
streak plate and the demonstrated pour plate and/or provide a good description ( if necessary, describe your class mates
streak plate and potentially explain what went wrong with yours). The considerations mentioned in point 2 and 3
under results and interpretations on p. 33-4 should be helpful. Among
the issues that should be addressed: Did you get isolated colony forming units
(aka colonies)? If not, why do you think you were not able to?

Growth/culture
characteristics exercise results: FILL IN information for Pigmentation Table below

Incubation
Temperature of the cultures

N.B. These next questions are
not identical to the ones provided during the lab session but answering those
questions during lab should help you in answering these questions (which help
prepare you for lab exam, etc.)
a)In broth, does M. phlei
grows in suspension, i.e. does it cause the broth to become turbid throughout
the entire tube? Do the colonies on
solid media look flat like other colonies? Explain your answer.
This somewhat relates to term
in matching exercise below, friable.
b) Are all colony forming
units (CFUs) transparent? Which are not?
c)Which CFUs have irregular
edges (wispy edges) suggesting that the bacteria might be motile? This
relates to terms below in matching (filiform colonies vs. colonies with
spreading edges).
d)Which bacteria that we
observed do not produce pigment?

In
discussion, include answers to:
Q1.
How does complex medium compare to
synthetic (chemically defined) media?
What kind of medium were you using in the exercises such as the staining
exercise and the streak plate/pour plate exercise?
Q2.
What is the meaning of the term colony forming unit (CFU)? Why is it applicable when talking about the
growth on a streak plate? Is a CFU
always an indication of a pure culture?
Q3.
Define or explain:
a) obligate anaerobe
b) facultative anaerobe
Q4.
What is the purpose of inverting inoculated plates during incubation?
Q5.
Match the following terms from exercise 2-3 in lab manual usually in use
______
filiform 1. Produces
colored growth
_____
_spreading edge 2. Smooth texture with solid edge
______
transparent 3. Solid
growth seeming to radiate outward
______friable 4. Almost invisible
or easy to see light through
______pigmented 5. Rough texture with a
crusty appearance
Q6.
Match the following terms from exercise 2-4 in lab manual usually in use
_____Flocculent a. Evenly cloudy
throughout
_____Sediment b. Growth at top around
the edge
_____Ring c. Growth at the
bottom
_____Pellicle d. Membrane at the
top
_____Uniform
fine turbidity e. Suspended chunks or
pieces

Note for lab exam: Should
have understanding of i) why is agar added to media ii)besides pigment production, possible other
culture characteristics that can be useful in identifying a bacterial species
(photos
in handouts, etc. can be very helpful here) iii)what reasons might lead to
absence of growth on a streak plate. You
should know what the term pure culture means.
And you should have an idea as to meaning of the concept of aseptic
technique, why it is important, how we do this in the lab, etc.

Integrated Marketing Communications

This course project submission will require more time than the previous submissions, so please get started as early as possible.
Although our focus for this course is on public relations and advertising, we’ve learned that they should be part of a larger integrated marketing communication (IMC) campaign. We also learned that the IMC campaign should be cohesive and consistent and should combine the right elements of the promotion mix (which may include PR, advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, and digital marketing), delivered via a seamless collection of online and offline media outlets. Because the focus of the course is PR and advertising, we will focus on these elements of the promotion mix for this assignment. Just keep in mind that, in reality, there would likely be other promotion mix elements used in an effective IMC campaign.
You previously identified the publics and target audiences you plan to reach with your PR and advertising campaigns. You also identified the online and offline media outlets you could use to reach your publics and target audiences. In this assignment, you will complete the remaining steps in the IMC process.
To prepare for this assignment, review the following:
Review your previous course project submissions and the feedback you received from your instructor. Remind yourself of the publics and target audiences you plan to reach. Also remind yourself of the online and offline media outlets you chose and your rationale for using them.
Review (or complete, if you haven’t already) your initial post for this module’s discussion forum. (Your initial post will be a great starting point for developing your “key message” for this assignment.)
To complete this two-part assignment, do the following.
Part 1 – PR and Advertising Samples
For this part of the assignment, you will create a PR sample and an advertising sample that could fit into a larger IMC campaign.
Public relations sample: Create a public relations sample to influence key stakeholders to believe that your company has the crisis under control. For your PR sample, you may create any one of the following:
Press Release / News Release
Public Service Advertisement (create a storyboard or .mp4 video file)
Press Conference Speech (write the speaker’s script)
Advertising sample: Create an advertising sample to persuade the target audience to believe that your company is still the right choice for the target audience. For your advertising sample, you may create any one of the following (Note: your advertising sample must include both images/visuals and copy/text!):
TV ad (create a story board or .mp4 video file)
Magazine ad
Tri-fold brochure
E-newsletter
Conduct an Internet search to find samples of the PR or advertising tactics you select so that you can get some ideas for the format and layout.
Part 2 – Explanation
For this part of the assignment, you will explain your PR and advertising samples. To complete this part of the assignment, do the following in a minimum of 5 pages (not including title and reference pages):
Explain each of your samples, including the rationale behind your choices for the message, advertising appeal, layout, etc. Be sure to incorporate concepts from the course to support your rationale.
Critique your PR and advertising samples. How effective will they be at reaching your intended publics and target audiences? Explain your answer.
Of the online and offline media outlets you identified in previous project assignments, which do you feel would be the most effective for distributing the samples you created and why?
Determine which additional promotion mix elements should be used if you were to create an IMC campaign for your company (for example, sales promotion, personal selling, direct marketing, and digital marketing). Using information you have learned, explain how you would use at least two additional promotion mix elements.
Include a title and reference page formatted according to APA standards.
Rasmussen’s Library and Learning Services team has developed a variety of resources to help support students’ academic endeavors. For this assignment, the Writing Guide, the APA Guide, and the Answers FAQ database (using “credible source” as search criteria) may be helpful. You will find links to these resources on the Resources tab.
Submit the two files for this assignment in a single zipped “.zip” file to the drop box below. For more information about zipped files, please see the Technical Requirements page located on the Resources tab. Please check the Course Calendar for specific due dates.
The name of the file should be your first initial and last name, followed by an underscore and the name of the assignment, and an underscore and the date. (Mac users, please remember to append the “.zip” extension to the filename.) An example is shown below:

Business Proposal

Business Proposal Assignment
You work as a communication specialist at Warby Parker, reporting to co-CEO David Gilboa. Using the skills youve been practicing in this course, respond to this challenge:
Youre helping Gilboa prepare a report about the company. Gilboa characterizes the report as a public business plan, in that it will discuss the company and its objectives, strategies, and operations without disclosing the sort of confidential information that a typical business plan includes. The secondary audience includes potential investors, employees, and business partners.
To help overcome shoppers reluctance to buy eyewear online, Warby Parker has been test marketing the concept called Home Try-On, in which people in the South Florida test market can order five pairs of frames, keep them for five days at no cost, then decide which pair they would like to order, and which they will send back. This gives shoppers lots of time to try on the frames they are considering and get the opinions of family and friends.
On the job (Internal, Unsolicited Proposal)
Write a 2-3 page (2 if single-spaced, 3 or more if double-spaced) internal proposal, in memo form, to Mr. Gilboa, with your evaluation of the test market results and your recommendation how the company should proceed with this concept based on that test. Remember to include headings or sub-headings for each section in the proposal that explain this program-e.g. Background, Solution, Recommendation, etc. Make sure to correctly identify and analyze your audience, as well as any possible secondary audiences. Remember, Mr. Gilboa, the person to whom you submit your proposal, is in a position to order the implementation of the change recommended.
It is important that you develop this memo with your own thoughts and input. You can make the test market experience good or bad, and base your recommendation on that. Make up any information you wish to bolster your case; in the real world, you would have this kind of data and information before you would write this memo.
Here is an example: A rough outline for a favorable recommendation:
Subject: Home Try-On Market Concept Test
Background: As you knowprofits down, store rents rising, we are seen as an old-fashion, undynamic company by the general public. Question: is the internet the answer? Marketing came
up with concept of Home Try-On, and began test marketing it in South Florida in November of last year.
Perceived Risks Prior to Test Market: Concept too confusing for public? What if customers did not return the 4 pair of frames they did not want? What sort of breakage might be expected? Would postage and handling be too costly?
Test Market Results: Public seemed to love the concept. Orders very high. 98% return rate on 4 pairs they did not want. Virtually no breakage. Minimal shipping and handling costs, because customer had to agree beforehand to absorb these costs.
Recommendation: Expand test market to entire East Coast for an additional 4 months. Prepare to go nationwide if results from that test equally encouraging.

Rubric attatched below.
