As a manager for the public outreach department, you realize that the current system for managing outreach issues is outdated. You would like to have a new outreach system developed…..

Instructions (APA 7 !!!!)
As a manager of an organization, you will often need to find ways to cut costs. One way to cut costs is to outsource by hiring another organization to perform the service. Consider the scenario below.
As a manager for the public outreach department, you realize that the current system for managing outreach issues is outdated. You would like to have a new outreach system developed using the Cloudera platform to help manage big data. However, no one in the organization has the expertise. You will have to outsource the project to save on costs and avoid management problems. Two companies have sent in a bidone from Vancouver, Canada, and one from Mumbai, India. The bid from India was slightly lower than the bid from Canada. Compose a response that includes the elements listed below.
Define what is meant by outsourcing.
Explain how Peter Druckers statement (covered in the textbook in uCertify) about how one companys back room is another companys front room pertains to outsourcing. Use an example.
Summarize the management advantages, cost reduction, and risk reduction of outsourcing.
Summarize the outsourcing risks concerning control, long-term costs, and exit strategy.
Discuss which company you would outsource to and why. Does distance matter?
Your case study must be at least two pages in length (not counting the title and reference pages), and you must use at least two references as a source for your essay. See the Suggested Reading section for some sample articles on outsourcing. Be sure to cite all sources used in APA format, and format your essay in APA style.

The Role of Advocacy- comment

Looking to see some good points here. Respond with your opinion of the post and bullet points using in-text citations to support your responses. I’ve included a list of references that should be used for this assignment.

Post
I feel that with any advocacy efforts related to policy making we need to consider how society may have impacted older persons with:
An examination of the possible biological and environmental elements that could affect older persons
The impact of culture and socioeconomic status, and if the older adult is Caucasian? African American? From a different culture? In poverty?
An examination the possible impact of society on an older person’s psychopathology (Alzheimer, dementia).
An exploration of the family and community as far as connection with nursing homes. How could these be strengthened to help older persons
An examination of the global perspective, in the USA and what resources are available in other countries or for those immigrated from another country into the USA

Ethical Dilemma Reflection

Ethical systems help us to understand or analyze morality, but knowing what is right is no guarantee that we will always do the right thing. Just because some behaviors are understandable and perhaps even excusable does not make them moral or ethical. (Quote from text: page 46.)
You are being asked to submit a PERSONAL REFLECTION. The personal reflection should be a one-page, single-spaced personal reflection incorporating concepts from the text (and properly cited per APA guidelines). There is a SEPARATE DROPBOX for the personal reflections. Personal reflections do NOT have right or wrong answers but should rather serve as a tool for the writer to
understand one’s own decision-making process when faced with an ethical dilemma. At times, this requires the writer to look at one’s own values, morals (sense of right and wrong), duties, and ethics in a professional setting. You will NOT be evaluated on your views (whether you do the right thing or not) but rather on your ability to critically think about the given ethical dilemma. For example, when faced with an ethical dilemma, what
values does the writer have? What duties (either moral or professional) may the writer have? The goal of this exercise is NOT to write what you think the instructor wants to hear, but an honest assessment of self.
Choose any one of the following ethical dilemmas for your personal reflection that are listed below. Answer the questions specific to that ethical dilemma in a
single-spaced, one-page essay. The personal reflection should address issues that are discussed in Chapters 1 and 2 such as values, duties, and morals as well as both personal and professional ethics. Your personal reflection should be posted in the DROPBOX for instructor review. This is not for the Discussion Board but is an individual assignment.
Choose ONE of the following for your
personal reflection:
Ethical dilemmas (Chapter 1) (pages 21-22)
Situation 2: Essay Exam in College (SAME scenario except that this is an ONLINE course and the test is closed-book but you know the majority of the students are using class notes and text during the exam.)

OR
Situation 3: Mother Kills Sons
OR
Ethical dilemmas (Chapter 2) (pages 49-50)

Situation 1: Manager of Retail Store
OR
Situation 3: Marijuana in the Past
OR
Situation 5: Job Promotion
I have chosen the first situation in chapter 1. Which I have added in the files

I have chosen the situation #1 in chapter 2. I will upload chapter 1&2.
