Write a short essay to “discuss” how the men’s inabilities to understand others lead to their misfortune.
This written assignment should be a short essay of TWO well developed paragraphs.
Please do not research the poem and give me answers from the internet. I can tell, and it upsets me to have to read thoughts that are not your own. So please just write what YOU think about these characters and their lack of leadership . This essay will show me what you have learned from the videos and the Perception Power Point —— (especially the last slide) Do NOT re-tell the poem. I know what each guy did and said in the video.
4. SHORT ESSAY DIRECTIONS:
Paragraph 1—— Relate the characters/poem to the four perceptions you learned in the last slide of the power point (we, self, other, observer). Place “quotation marks” around these 4 words when you use them in the paragraph. 10 pts
Paragraph 2—-“Discuss” a leader’s role as it relates to understanding Diversity-the use of Communication skills, and Leadership skills
Relate the discussion in this paragraph to the events in “The Cold Within” poem.
Place “quotation marks” around these three words when you discuss them in the second paragraph.

What is the impact of a pandemic on job design?

Human Resource Management research paper: Students will conduct primary or secondary (scholarly literature) research to discover the answer to a question related to the impact of an aspect of HRM on organizations in the global economy. At least 5 academic/scholarly sources must be used. The research paper should be no longer than 20 pages, double spaced; any appendices included will be not counted in the page allotment.

Hello,

My first thought was Work from Home related to HRM. If you want to learn more about working from home, the research question could be What is the impact of a pandemic on job design?” With these questions, you can now consider sub-questions like How does a pandemic impact an organization in general?, How is work performed in a normal situation?, “What are the necessary changes to how work is done when offices have to close down?, Are there industry differences with these job changes?, How is performance/productivity impacted when a job is done from home?, etc. Asking these sub-questions will then allow you to fully answer the question of the impact of a pandemic on job design. Dont add other topics, such as diversity or inclusion, to this discussion. Keep it focused on the main question. Also, as noted in the Dos and Donts there are no recommendations provided in a research paper.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,
Xiao

Explain any defenses that Svoboda and Robles could raise and the likely success of the defense.

Karel Svoboda, a credit officer for Rogue Bank, evaluated and approved his employers extensions of credit to clients. These responsibilities gave Svoboda access to nonpublic information about the clients earnings, performance, acquisitions, and business plans from confidential memos, email, and other sources. Svoboda devised a scheme with Alena Robles, an independent accountant, to use this information to trade securities. Pursuant to their scheme, Robles traded in the securities of more than twenty different companies and profited by more than $2 million. Svoboda also executed trades for his own profit of more than $800,000, despite their agreement that Robles would do all the trading. Aware that their scheme violated Rogue Banks policy, they attempted to conduct their trades to avoid suspicion. When the bank questioned Svoboda about his actions, he lied, refused to cooperate, and was fired. Using this information, address the following:
Explain what crimes Svoboda and Robles each committed.
Analyze the civil liability for Svoboda and Robles including who could file suit and on what
grounds.
Explain any defenses that Svoboda and Robles could raise and the likely success of the
defense.

Compare and contrast the Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman conceptions of the state.

Please respond to the following three questions in full and in detail. The length of answers should be in several thorough paragraphs detailing an accurate response. The grammar should be upper-level.

The questions are:
1. 1) A common theme addressed by many of the authors in this course is the role of human nature in politics. Two thinkers from different time periods who have distinct views on the role of human nature are Aristotle and Machiavelli. Explain their thoughts on human nature and how it influences the political realm. How should leaders/states manage the natural impulses and desires of a man?

2.Compare and contrast the Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman conceptions of the state. How do Plato and Cicero define key terms, such as citizenship, virtue, and state? And how do these affect their notions of an ideal form of government?

3. Two concepts addressed by many of the thinkers we have read this semester are virtue and self-interest. Explain the views of at least one ancient and one medieval thinker in regard to these concepts. Are these concepts contradictory? How did these thinkers relative time periods likely influence their ideas?

The responses should address each part of the question directly with a clear and well-defined argument, thoughtfully engage with the course readings by drawing relevant comparisons among authors, explain the readings in their proper historical context, and use appropriate examples to relate concepts in the readings and demonstrate their impacts on modern politics.
Direct intext quotes are required to further explain one’s point in the response.

Criminological Research Paper
Offenders commit crimes for different reasons. Criminological theories attempt to explain why crimes occur. For the Final Paper, you will evaluate the theoretical study of crime and crime causation by examining the crime of an offender and applying a criminological theory discussing why the offense occurred.

You must discuss both the offender and the crime in detail. Additionally, you must research the criminological theory to be used; discuss the theorist responsible for coining the theory, the year it was created, the premise of the theory, and how it is applicable.

Below is a list of offenders that were reported in the media as a result of the heinous nature of their offense. Select one of the offenders, and research their crime. You may only use scholarly sources when citing in your paper. Wikipedia is not an acceptable source.

First, select an offender from the list of offenders.
