Overview
In this course, you will write a persuasive essay. Creating a writing plan is a major step in the process of writing your persuasive essay. A good writing plan will help you form your argument, determine your audience, pick evidence to support your key points, and organize the structure of your essay.
Directions
Use this writing plan to gather your thoughts and determine your strategy for writing your persuasive essay. This process will allow you to develop a potential structure for effectively communicating and supporting your claim. Additionally, this plan will help keep your thought processes on track when you begin writing and revising your essay.
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Writing Plan
Describe the argument to be addressed in your persuasive essay. Explain how the argument relates to your major, the major you are considering pursuing, or your field of work.
Ensure that your topic is debatable. Are you able to see at least two perspectives to this argument?
Identify the potential challenges you may encounter in supporting your argument with a specific audience.
First, state the audience you will be writing to.
Then address the challenges of supporting your argument with this audience.
Establish a goal that you hope to accomplish with this essay. What will this essay need to successfully meet your goal?
Determine three key points that will be helpful in supporting your argument and provide rationale.
Provide a brief description of at least two resources that support the key points of your argument.
First, list the authors and the titles of each resource. These resources may be books or articles you identified in a previous assignment.
Then provide a brief description of how each may reinforce your argument.
Explain how you plan to effectively integrate evidence into the essay.
Explain how your instructor’s feedback on previous assignments has influenced your progress moving forward.
What changes did you make to your writing plan after receiving this feedback?
If you did not make changes, how did the feedback reinforce the direction of your essay?
What to Submit
Your writing plan must be 2–3 pages and must be written in MLA or APA format. Use double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins.

What are the Importance of Authentic Leadership to Organizational Performance: Studying Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in China and UK

What are the Importance of Authentic Leadership to Organizational Performance: Studying Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in China and UK
Authen
tic leadership is an emerging theory, which is attracting increasing attentions
and interests in the business world. Introduced by Bill George in 2003, the
theory of authentic leadership supports that the key for leaders to succeed is
to be themselves (WGU, 2020). In other words, authentic leadership means
leading by examples. Leaders shall demonstrate the same values and practice the
same behaviors, that are expected from employees. Although authentic leadership
is getting increasing awareness and popularity, there are still limited
evidences or proved facts to display its importance to organizational
performance. This research is to study the importance of authentic leadership
to organizational performance, by taking SMEs in China and UK as research
objects, and comparing organizational performance under different authentic
leadership contexts.

Literature Review
The
theoretical foundation or logic of this research is based on three basic
elements, including authentic leadership, organizational performance, and SMEs.
Literature resources that are relevant to the three elements will be reviewed,
in order to identify the characteristics of authentic leadership, measurements
to evaluate organizational performance, and SMEs’ features. Findings about the
three elements are to support the research to design detailed research
questions and make corresponding analysis.

Research Method
Methods
used for this research mainly cover two approaches. The first approach is
qualitative research, which is to collect secondary data and information about
authentic leadership, organizational performance, and SMEs by studying previous
and current studies, papers, or other credible sources. The second approach is
quantitative research, which is to collect first-hand data and information
about how SMEs in China and UK are experiencing authentic leadership, and how
authentic leadership is affecting their performances. A questionnaire will be
used to collect data and information from some SMEs in China and UK, and
comparing analysis will be used to analyze different organizational
performances under different authentic leadership contexts.

What benefits did you gain from performing statistical calculations on the data?

Overview
Data can be collected from many different sources. In this assignment, you will perform a short survey of 10 people. From this data, you will create a frequency chart, histogram, and pie chart. You will also perform several statistical calculations.

Part One – Survey Data
For this assignment, you will need to ask 10 people the following 5 questions and record their answers in an Excel spreadsheet:
What is their first name?
What is their age?
Are they currently a student?
How many hours of sleep do they average in a night?
What is their favorite ice cream flavor?

Please Note: Some of the data collected will be used in the following module assignments. Make sure to ask all five questions and record all the data for each question.

Part Two – Graphs & Calculations
After you collect data from 10 people on the 5 questions above, complete the following in the same Excel spreadsheet used to collect the data:
Create two frequency charts:
The first frequency chart will be for their favorite ice cream flavor.
The second frequency chart will be for their age and should contain between 5 and 10 class intervals.
Create a histogram for age.
Label the axes, title, and bars.
Create a pie chart for favorite ice cream flavor.
Label the key and percentage of each section.
Calculate the following statistical values on the age variable:
Measures of center – mean, median, mode, and midrange.
Measures of variation – range and standard deviation.

Part Three – Presentation
After you have created your graphs and performed your calculations, create a presentation with the following information on each slide:
Slide 1: Title slide with assignment title, name, course, date, instructor name.
Slide 2: Provide a copy of the raw data in table format collected from 10 people.
Slide 3: Copy and paste your two frequency charts.
Slide 4: Copy and paste your histogram.
What conclusions can you draw?
Slide 5: Copy and paste your pie chart.
What conclusions can you draw?
Slide 6: Share the measures of center for age.
What are your interpretations?
Slide 7: Share the measures of variation for age.
What are your interpretations?
Slide 8: Conclusion – Summarize the data you collected.
Were there any interesting outcomes you weren’t expecting?
Was there any data that was helpful to draw further conclusions?
What benefits did you gain from visualizing the data?
What benefits did you gain from performing statistical calculations on the data?

General Requirements
Submit one Excel spreadsheet containing Part One – Survey Data and Part Two – Graphs & Calculations with your 8-slide presentation.

Explain how the healthcare administrator might facilitate the provision of a culturally competent environment of care if a patient of the selected country’s dominant culture needed to receive care in a U.S. healthcare facility.

Discuss on Casino gaming is growing part of the hospitality industry with significant expansion across the globe.

Discuss on Casino gaming is growing part of the hospitality industry with significant expansion across the globe. Currently 29 states have more type of casino gaming either allowed by the state government or on Native American lands. The state of Georgia is now is being considerered for casino gaming and sports betting. Northern Georgia, Atlanta Metro, Columbus, and Savannah/Brunswick regions are all being considered as potential sites for casino resorts. It did not pass the most recent legislative session and will now be reintroduced in the next session. Please review the following the articles to get an idea for the bills being considered to legalize casinos in Georgia:
https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/house-committee-backs-referendum-to-legalize-gambling-in-georgia
https://www.yogonet.com/international/news/2022/04/06/62109-georgia-sports-betting–gaming-legalization-push-falls-short-for-2022
There are many people on both sides of the gambling legalization debate and have their reasons to be pro or anti-gambling. There are plenty of articles listing the economic impact of casino gaming in communities like more jobs, increased tax revenues, tourism dollars being reinvested in small businesses. Additionally, there are a number of articles that describe the negative impacts of casinos which includes increased substance abuse, domestic abuse, crime and other social ills.
Please find three articles (you can’t use the articles I linked above) that support your personal viewpoint on this issue. Please make sure that you use your references, research, and rational thought to make your point. Do not rely on emotions or personal convictions while making your case.
Please answer the following questions:
1. Using the articles listed above and the three articles your sourced to defends your points, explain your rationale on why you believe casino gaming resorts should or should not be developed in Georgia.
2. If you believe that casino gaming resort should be developed in Georgia, which three location within the state should be considered and why. If you do not believe that casino gaming resorts should not be developed in Georgia, then discuss how could Georgia make up for the tax revenues, jobs, and increased tourism dollars that it would lose to neighboring states that has casino gaming resorts (like Florida and North Carolina).
