Write a paper on Experimental Design and Pilot Study on Multicultural

Write a paper on Experimental Design and Pilot Study on MulticulturalThis is what is listed on the syllabus:

Pilot study (75 points). You will conduct an informal test of your research hypothesis with real students.
The pilot study may be action research, a quasi-experiment, or a tryout of materials or assessments for your
research design.
Research design (75 points). From your review of the research, you will design an original experimental or
quasi-experimental study to answer an unanswered question growing from your review of literature. There
is a detailed checklist to guide your writing posted on Canvas. You will present your review of literature
and research design in a term paper and in a research presentation to the class. For 20 additional points, you
will present a 15-20-minute narrated PowerPoint to explain your design in a live virtual poster session ( This is the Powerpoint you just completed).
The checlist rubric is below.

I have added an example of the experimental design, titled ” Geri’sDesign”

I have added the goal of the pilot study.

I did one a while back I think this is sort of what they are looking for, but follow the checklist instead.

If you need any help let me know! I think I will have to come up with an activity to use. I am thinking about doing something like this that my proffessor sugested:

You could identify a promising set of multicultural books, randomly assign students to read this set (maybe self-selected books from the set) and other students to read from a set of non-multicultural Americana books. You might have literature discussion groups to motivate reading and reflection. Pretest and posttest both groups for their attitudes toward reading or toward diverse groups, their reading fluency in words per minute with comprehension, their vocabulary (using a selected group of words from both book sets), voluntary reading as measured in AR points, and their world knowledge of the people and geography featured in the multicultural books.

***The information in my pass PWS about my students are still the same. I will be using the same class from that project.

Explain in detail how psychological, personal, social and cultural factors influenced the each of the five stages in the model.

Background:
In Module 4, we explored the principles of marketing and why consumers make the choices they do. Specifically, Chapter 11 of Business Essentials, “Marketing Processes and Consumer Behavior” provides you with a five-stage model that highlights the stages of the consumer buying process. In your Module 5 and 6 readings, you learn what differentiates a good presentation, report, or proposal from a poor one, and how to effectively conduct and cite research to support the objectives of your presentation.
Assignment Details:
Assume that you are considering attending graduate school in your field. Select three colleges or universities that you would be interested in attending.
Using this five-step model of rational decision-making, create a voice-over “how to” presentation that describes how you used the model effectively to select a graduate school.
In the presentation, explain in detail how psychological, personal, social and cultural factors influenced the each of the five stages in the model.
Similarly, address specific marketing factors presented by each of the graduate schools in the context of product (graduate program), pricing (tuition/program costs/housing), promotion (rankings, news stories, reputation, scholarship offers, etc.), and place (university location) and how marketing influenced your decision to select a graduate program. You may want to refer back to Module 4 – Common Examples of Persuasive Business Messages and Module 4 – Developing Marketing and Sales Messages in examining how these marketing concepts apply to colleges, universities, and their academic programs–and how they are used to get students to attend.
Using three of the “six ways to make a lasting impression” from Part II of Carnegie’s How To Win Friends as a contextual guide, explain the ways in which your final choice made a lasting impression during your marketing and consumer behavioral decision-making analysis. How did the marketing techniques used by the college/universities you researched appeal to:
How they took interest in your interests
Discussed/conveyed what matters to you in selecting a grad program
How they left you “feeling a little better” than the other two choices you considered
Include at a minimum, 12 different resources in a works-cited slide at the end of the presentation that you used to create your presentation and support your arguments in your presentation. You may use your Business Essentials textbook as one unique reference.

Make sure you:
Review the presentation rubric before you get started for grade details.
Include a works-cited slide in APA format that has all 12 references you used in the creation of your presentation.
Upload your presentation to Canvas when you are finished.

What recommendations would you make to influence policy changes in correctional operations?

What recommendations would you make to influence policy changes in correctional operations? During this course, we will cover various aspects of the correctional system that affects, both inmates and correctional officers. Your task is to provide a presentation to the community/local government, state legislature, and finally the warden of your state.
Each week you will develop your project by taking on a persona (community activist, state-level politician, warden, resident living near a prison, ex-inmate, retired corrections officer). At the end of the course, you will provide a PowerPoint presentation (with voiceover) sharing your ideas for change at a federal government hearing based on the persona/character chosen.
Week 5- Should inmates be broken up based on religion, sexual orientation, gang affiliation, female vs. male prisons?
Include the following aspects in the assignment:
· affirmative action
· biases that affect inmate compliance
· how does breaking the prison population help the prison run effectively and efficiently?
Your presentation may take the form of a two-page word document or a 10 slide PowerPoint presentation. Use APA formatting in whichever one you chose. The word document should have a cover page and reference page which do not count towards the two-page requirement. The PowerPoint presentation should have a cover slide and a reference slide which do not count towards the total slide count.

Discuss the respiratory system. Explain how the anatomical structures of the respiratory system are well suited to perform the functions that they do. Include a discussion of lung ventilation, the physiology of gas exchange and/or gas transport in the blood. You may also discuss one or two pathologies of the respiratory system and their explanation.

Discuss a case study which critically evaluates the role of the diagnostic (breast cancer)

Discuss a case study which critically evaluates the role of the diagnostic (breast cancer)A case study which critically evaluates the role of the diagnostic imaging in the management and treatment of a patient presenting with breast cancer

Word Count – 2500
words (+10%)
You are required to produce a case study critically evaluating
the role of diagnostic imaging in the management of a patient. Ideally, this
should relate to a patient you have come across whilst on placement. The case
study should consider the patient pathway from initial presentation through to
future management.
The case study should cover the following four sections:

1. A brief background/introduction (what the
patient is presenting with, prior investigations)

2.You
should then focus your assignment on how diagnostic
imaging contributes to the overall management of your patient. This is
the essential and main part of your
case study. What diagnostic imaging test have
they presented to the department for? What other diagnostic
imaging tests have they had/may they be having? How does this compare
with what the literature recommends? You should evaluate
the diagnostic imaging tests by
considering their diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity/specificity, and the
diagnostic/therapeutic impact together with the patient outcome. You are expected to explore and evaluate contemporary
research/journals etc. and compare these findings/recommendations with
what you have observed in practice.

3. What treatment may the patient receive?

4. How will they be managed in the future? What
role does diagnostic imaging play in this?
Remember to ensure that the case is fully anonymised.

Your attention is drawn to the level 2
marking descriptors.

Your knowledge base, analysis,
evaluation, and ethical understanding are essential aspects and you MUST
achieve in these areas if you are to obtain a pass in this component.

Not sure how many references are needed, if writer more/less is needed that is fine.
