Part 1: The Summary Section (about 80 words)
In your Part 1 of your Daily Log, you will write a summary of the text you read. In general, a summary is written in your own words, is radically shorter than the original, is objective and accurate (no opinion just focus on the facts) and communicates its overarching theme, main idea, supporting points and significant details. Your summary should include the following:
The full name of the writer (use the last name of the author in subsequent mention)
The title of the piece in quotation marks if it is an essay
The essay’s topic, what it is about
The essay’s purpose(s), why it might have been written
The piece’s thesis/main idea
Supporting points
Significant details
Part 2: The Response Section (about 100-150 words)
In your Part 2, you will develop your response/reaction to the text. Here you’ll develop your ideas, opinion about the text. Once the essayist has had her say, it’s time for your say. You have far more freedom here, though you still, of course, want to be fair, giving the writer the benefit of the doubt, sympathetically trying on her ideas.
To make your response easier and even more clear, you can select one of the following options to respond: Think of responding as 1. asking questions (What?, Who? How?, Why?), 2. making connections (This makes me think of… or This reminds me of… or This is similar to…), 3. considering ways your own experience matches or contrasts with the author. You may also want to 4. connect the piece to things you’re learning in other classes, other texts you’ve read, or films and other popular culture it may relate to.
Part 3: The Style Section (about 80 words)
In your Part 3, you will notice a detail about the writer’s skills. This course is as much about the how as it is the what of a piece. In other words, when you summarize and respond to a text, you are examining what it says, primarily its subject matter. But the ways it says are almost as important as what it is trying to communicate. How we use language affects the success of our communication. I’d like you to use the readings as models for your own writing. So in this section, I’d like you to do the following:
identify one or more things you see the writer doing that you’d like to try in your own writing;
specifically illustrate how the writer is using the technique; and
explain how the technique is effective, what it accomplishes (what, for instance, it makes the reader think or feel or understand).

What training is provided when a new information system is implemented in your organization? Are nurses involved in evaluating the systems?

I already have the bulk of the paper written at this point, but it needs to be perfected to reflect an adequate research paper for a Capstone submission. I have comments from the professor on the PDF that still need revision. Please note those as any edits are being made.

The research argument being made in this paper should be: By looking closely at Fuller’s private and public writings, as well as the various biographical sources that discuss the life of Margaret Fuller, my research uncovers that Margaret Fuller was more than a Transcendentalist editor, she served as one of nineteenth-century America’s most influential female authors and figures that contributed to the growth of feminism in the following century.

The word limit for this submission is 6,250 words.

The bibliography in the attachment is made up of sources that I have already used, but could probably use more elaboration on them within the text itself.

(APA format is also acceptable, but be consistent in each essay).
Length: Roughly 750 words (or about three pages)

Compare and contrast The Aeneid to the epics of Homer. Consider focusing on Aeneas (as a hero) versus Achilles and Odysseus, the thematic intention of each work, or even simply the heroes’ journeys into the underworld. You are deciding what specifically to compare/contrast, so just be clear about that point in your introduction.

For this assignment, you will complete a research paper on the Stroop Effect and selective attention. The Stroop Effect is a phenomenon that occurs with the Stroop Task, a test that looks at what happens when we are asked to perform an ordinary task (such as reading or identifying a list of colors) when there is some sort of visual interference.
Main Components of a Research Paper
Title page – Make sure that the main points of a title page are included.
Abstract – This is a well written summary of your paper. A reader should be able to get a clear picture of your paper based on the abstract. Include everything from a quick introduction of the topic to a sentence that implies that you will discuss results and implications.
Introduction – This is so much more than a summary of your paper and should not be treated that way. For this paper, your introduction should be 2-3 pages of double-spaced writing. Start by introducing your topic in general. Then you should discuss research from relevant published studies. Most, if not all, of your 8 references from peer reviewed sources will be cited in this section. Discussing these studies are important as they help provide a rationale for your study. Give that rationale next. Finish by clearly stating your hypothesis.

Methods – Split this section into participants and materials and procedures subsections. You know the gender and age of all of your participants. You are welcome to include other demographic or recruiting information as it helps you with your study. Try the study here so you can adequately write about the procedures. Click on Run Experiment to get started.
Results – Use the data I provided to calculate your results. Remember that your hypothesis drives your statistics. Think about what statistics you need to include to test your hypothesis. Write out all of your numbers even if you are including them in a table.
Discussion – This is the best section because it is finally time to talk about what YOU think. After restating your results, talk about what they mean. What are the implications of your findings? Why are they important? For instance, why should we care that one gender is better at this than the other or that there aren’t gender differences for this study? After that, talk about the limitations to your study and give specific ideas for future research.
References – Don’t forget that your references (and all of your paper) need to be in APA format. You need at least 8 references from peer reviewed sources in your Introduction (e.g., journals).

The instructions are pretty unclear but what I’ve gathered from it is that I chose the topic of globalization and Humanitarian intervention, they each have their own theory that explains the case study you choose. Globalization theory-neoliberalism, humanitarian theory-liberalism
