The great Gatsby – self invention paper

As we have discussed, the very American idea of self-invention is central to The Great Gatsby. Examine and develop an argument about the significance of self-invention in the novel, focusing on what the novel may be saying about the idea of self-invention in the context of American culture of the 1920s. This is not a character study but rather an argument about the thematic significance of self-invention. Your essay should proceed from a clear, debatable thesis (main claim), developed and advanced through critical reasoning (analysis and interpretation), and supported by textual evidence. Remember that your reader has read the book, so plot summary and character description is unnecessary. Focus on the novel’s ideas.

State a research question that likely preceded this project. Why was the data collected in the first place?

Your manager recently presented you with a dataset and asked you to analyze and present it to
the management team in April. You know nothing about the dataset or why the data was
collected in the first place. Yikes! All your manager gave you was the survey that was used and
the dataset. Luckily, someone has already organized the spreadsheet with the data and
provided you with a legend. Where to start? You gather a group of colleagues and try to sort
through the documents you were given. After your initial meeting you decide to present the
following to your manager:
1. The research question that guided the survey
2. Descriptive statistics
3. Four hypotheses
4. Inferential statistics (to answer your hypotheses)
You then remember that there is someone in a different department who used to work with
your manager. You double-check that colleague because they seemed to know what the
manager expected in the past and always seemed to be on the ball. You ask them what they
think of your strategy to tackle this vague project. Your colleague gives you the following
advice:

1. State a research question that likely preceded this project. Why was the data collected
in the first place?

methodology statement

We should bear in mind the following points when thinking about our methodology statement:
Firstly: you should propose ways –techniques-styles of unearthing critical knowledge about one social movement in Palestine. Why is ethnography or perhaps other methodspertinent to our work? What kind of intimate, personal, private spheres are we tapping into to understanding the dynamics of this social movement? What about our research questions?
Secondly: How would you like to represent these findings? What kind of primary or secondary resources are we working with? Do these resources enhance our knowledge of this social movement?
Thirdly: are there any ethical considerations that we should worry about? How do you plan on tackling them?
You do not have to provide answers to these questions. These questions help you think and conceptualize.
Grading Criteria:
– Your ability of unearthing critical scope. Topics-domains-narratives that might be under-researched and worth exploring further.
-Your ability of articulating useful research questions.
-Being cognizant of the opportunities and challenges.

Gene expression and the central DOGMA

Overview:
The DNA in all of our cells is a set of instructions but like any set of instructions, it can’t
actually do anything. Similar to how when you open that box containing the exercise
bike you ordered online; you can read the instructions on how to assemble the bike as
many times as you want, and those instructions won’t help you get in shape. You have
to read the instructions and then build the bike; once it’s built, then you can use it.
Similarly, once our DNA is read and the molecules or proteins that are coded for are
built, then our cells can use them. This process is called the central dogma and has
three key parts: DNA Replication, Transcription, and Translation.
Instructions:
• In this assignment, you will write a paper describing the following processes:
o DNA Replication
o Transcription
o Translation
• The Unit 5 Activity will be very helpful in being successful with this assignment.
Requirements:
• Your paper will be no less than two, no more than three pages, not including title or
reference pages.
• You will use intext citations and references in APA format. You may use your textbook
and other internet resources.
I have attached a word document with my textbook resource for reference and citation. You may add or use any other sources.

Case Conceptualzation

Final paper (8-10 pages): Students are to write an in-depth case conceptualization based on a vignette provided by the instructor. Students will identify the family members, presenting problems including a theoretical assessment, systemic theoretical conceptualization, and initial treatment plan using a model of the student’s choosing from the theories we discussed in the course. The application of theory should include complete definitions of all the key concepts and techniques in the theory. The case conceptualization should include a genogram with a symbol index. Consult these instructions

for drawing a genogram in MS Word. The case conceptualization shall demonstrate the student’s ability to conceptualize a case in a culturally sensitive way as well as their ability to approach the case from an eco-systemic perspective and considering: Class/Socioeconomic Status; Gender/Sexual orientation; Culture/Ethnicity/Race/Geopolitical structure; Aging and Religion/spirituality. In addition, the student is to use a minimum of one outside source. Please use APA format in Microsoft Word.
