Indoor & Outdoor Learning Action Plans

B‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ased on the children’s observations and ‘About Me’ page, discuss an idea for one indoor learning experience and one outdoor learning action plan that can include the entire group (22 children aged 4-5 year olds). Use the template attached to plan your learning action plan. Analyse the attached observations, Interpret the Observations and fill in the learning experience templates. Reflect on how these observations will inform your planning for each focus child in the observation. Interpret the Observations attached – Now the observation has been documented, you will need to interpret the observation above. This means you basically have to make meaning of the child’s learning and understanding through what you have observed. This can be done in the Analysis of Learning. Analysis of Learning When writing the analysis of learning you w‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ill need to first identify an outcome that the child has achieved during the observation. It’s true that within an observation there could be up to 6 or 7 outcomes that the child has achieved but you need to remember the “purpose” and focus on one or two outcomes. Once you have identified the outcome, you can use what you have written in the observation as evidence and link it to the outcome which you have identified. You can start off the analysis using: It is evident… Through the observation… During the process of observation… Child’s name has shown… Use the sub outcomes within the EYLF to help you add to the analysis based on what you observed. To do this, choose the relevant EYLF sub outcomes. Also include evidence from your observation to tie it all in together. I have also uploaded an example of a Learning Action Pl‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌an for your reference

Personal Cultural Food History

Prepare a reflective paper discussing the importance of food in one’s history. Think about how food played a role throughout ancient times and how it still plays a role in our lives today. Using our readings, find two similarities to how food is relevant to you today and compare that to its role in a historical context.

Definitely reference some of the readings but focus on reflective personal experience. Please think from the mind of a young college student.

Securing Wireless Network 802.11

For this discussion you will be examining the topic of securing wireless networks. First choose a use case. You can choose from the following examples or create one yourself. Example use case 1 is an 802.11 wireless network for users in an enterprise network at a location with several different buildings spread out within fenced physical perimeter. Example use case 2 is an 802.11 wireless network for staff on a large university campus. Example use case 3 is an 802.11 wireless network for medical devices within a hospital. We want to secure the wireless network using 802.11i. So we need to choose an EAP method to use for authenticating with 802.1x. Consider the guidance provided in NIST SP 800-97 and SP 800-120. You will find chapter 6 of SP 800-97 and appendix A of SP 800-120 will provide the most relevant information but entirety of both documents are helpful.

Once again consider the suggested structure for your response (three to five pages) is 1) interpretation of the question including a descriiption of your use case; 2) context [authoritative documents]; 3) introduction to the NIST guidance; 4) introduction to your choice of EAP method; 5) analysis; 6) conclusions; and 7) references cited. Please consider footnotes or endnotes for each key point and for captions for figures/tables.

Why are people in Albany County pleased or displeased with police using drones?

Literature Review (10 points):
You will develop a literature review relevant to your topic area. The length of the literature review is dependent on the existing literature relevant to the student’s topic area, but it should discuss at least 10 journal articles and should be at least a full 4 pages (double-spaced). This is where you demonstrate that no one has (satisfactorily) answered your question already. It should include a bibliography (not part of the length requirement), and in-text citations should be in APA format.
Compare the various arguments, theories, methodologies, and findings expressed in the literature.
Contrast the various arguments, themes, methodologies, approaches, and controversies expressed in the literature.
Critique the literature: Which arguments are more persuasive, and why? Which approaches, findings, and methodologies seem most reliable, valid, or appropriate, and why?
Connect the literature to your own area of research and investigation: how does your own work draw upon, depart from, synthesize, or add a new perspective to what has been said in the literature?

Mad in America

Mad in America
Source: Whitaker, R. (2019). Mad in America: Bad science, bad medicine, and the enduring mistreatment of the
mentally ill. Philadelphia: Perseus.

This assignment is broken into four prompts that correlate with each of the four sections of the book and a conclusion.
Respond to each of the following prompts. Use examples directly from Mad in America. Do not exceed 5 pages.

Part One: The Original Bedlam (1750-1900)
Identify and briefly explain two similarities and two difference between health care and mental health care in this time period.
Note: Review the Preindustrial era in your Textbook.

Part Two: The Darkest Era (1900-1950)
The Textbook discusses the evolution of the medical profession as part of the Post-Industrial era. Briefly compare the evolution of physical health doctors and psychiatry/psychology. Were they similar? Different? How?
Note: Use direct examples to demonstrate your understanding and be sure to explain why you compared concepts as similar, different, or both.

Part Three: Back to Bedlam (1950-1990s)
This section directly challenges modern psychiatry, exposes a very dark period in modern history, and is the most controversial. Whitaker places the treatment of people with mental illness in the context of global sentiments and events. He is quite critical of both the media and pharmaceutical companies.
What is your general observation and reaction to this section? Choose two topics that grabbed your attention and tell me why you chose them. Why are the significant and worthy of your time?
Note: Things you might consider but are not restricted to: Were you shocked? Did this happen in your family? Does this run counter to your own knowledge or beliefs? Is the portrayal of this time period accurate (why or why not)?

Part Four: Mad Medicine Today (1990s-Present)
This section marks the conclusion of Whitakers history of the evolution of mental health in the United States and the point in which you decide what you take from this book. Do you agree or disagree with Whitakers summation in Chapter 11, why or why not? Be sure to use examples to support your conclusion(s).

General writing guidelines to help you be successful.
* Formatting: Double spaced, 1 margins, 12-point font (please!). There is no need for a cover page or page numbers. Do watch your spelling and grammar.
* Note on Paragraphs: Paragraphs are not just throwing all your ideas together under an indent. Paragraphs have a structure that includes a lead in or introductory sentence for the main topic of the paragraph. Three to four sentences laying out your ideas and argument(s) then a final sentence that wraps it up. This is a rough guide to standard writing mechanics (I am not counting your sentences).
* Note on Quotes: Use quotes sparingly, if at all. You do not have the space to fully demonstrate your understanding by using quotes. Paraphrase and synthesize is what you are after unless the quote is such that paraphrasing diminishes the impact.

Compare and contrast the arguments that have been advanced for and against the incorporation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Law in the criminal justice system.

T‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌he essay question is worth 40 marks. Your response to the question should be around 2,500 words. Make sure that you support your answer by at least referring to the findings and arguments in the readings and lecture mat‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌erials. It is recommended that you go beyond the course readings. Please make sure that you: double-space your essay, use 12 point font, utilise the APA referencing style.
