Write about and talk about, but very difficult to accomplish.

Write about and talk about, but very difficult to accomplish. There are numerous publications written by industry experts regarding the “textbook” formula for achieving EHR success in the healthcare industry. In a perfect world, maybe these recommendations have merit. Unfortunately, healthcare does not exist in ideal conditions – is very dynamic and volatile.

Based on your research topic, prepare for an in-depth discussion with your class fellows. You will be expected to participate in an objective discussion on your research outcomes. The main concepts will include the assessment of your progress toward writing a comprehensive paper.

FORMAT
This activity will be a boardroom-style (round table) design and online. You are required to have BOTH video and audio capabilities.

AGENDA FOR C-SUITE MEETING
This activity is real (and will be handled in a very authentic manner). Your ideas may be challenged by the participants. The goal is to flush out the best tactics/ideas/strategies/concerns/challenges for your research work.
You will be individually evaluated by each executive in the following areas:

Identification of main issues and problem
Analysis and evaluation of issues and problems
Recommendation of effective solutions and strategies
Preparation: Use of course readings and addition research to support your research results
Organization and presentation/communication skills

*This activity will be based on your second deliverable*

What is the probability of Rebecca being diagnosed with gestational diabetes if her glucose level is measured.

Assessment Descriiption
1. A patient is classified as having gestational diabetes if their glucose level is above 140 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl) one hour after a sugary drink is ingested. Rebecca’s doctor is concerned that she may suffer from gestational diabetes. There is variation both in the actual glucose level and in the blood test that measures the level. Rebecca’s measured glucose level one hour after ingesting the sugary drink varies according to the Normal distribution with μ= 140+X mg/dl and σ = X+1 mg/dl, where X is 8829. What is the probability of Rebecca being diagnosed with gestational diabetes if her glucose level is measured:

Once?
X+1 times, where X is 8829?
X+4 times, where X is 8829?
Comment on the relationship between the probabilities observed in (a), (b), and (c). Explain, using concepts from lecture why this occurs and what it means in context.

2. Suppose next that we have even less knowledge of our patient, and we are only given the accuracy of the blood test and prevalence of the disease in our population. We are told that the blood test is 9X percent reliable, gestational diabetes affects X+1 percent of the population in our patient’s age group, and that our test has a false positive rate of X+4 percent. Compute the following quantities based on this new information:

If 100,000 people take the blood test, how many people that test positive will actually have gestational diabetes?
What is the probability of having the disease given that you test positive?
If 100,000 people take the blood test, how many people that test negative despite actually having gestational diabetes?
What is the probability of having the disease given that you tested negative?
Comment on what you observe in the above computations. How does the prevalence of the disease affect whether the test can be trusted?

3. As we have seen in class, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals are the most common inferential tools used in statistics. Imagine that you have been tasked with designing an experiment to determine reliably if a patient should be diagnosed with diabetes based on their blood test results. Create a short outline of your experiment, including all of the following:

1. A detailed discussion of your experimental design.
2. How is randomization used in your sampling or assignment strategy?
3. The type of inferential test utilized in your experiment.
4. A formal statement of the null and alternative hypothesis for your test.
5. A confidence interval for estimating the parameter in your test.
6. An interpretation of your p-value and confidence interval, including what they mean in context of your experimental design

What diagnostic tests should be ordered to reach the final diagnosis and what findings help in making it.

Blepahritis
Please, complete a PPT that covers the following elements:
1. Descriiption of the Diagnosis of Blepharitis
1) Condition (Pathology)
2) Pathophysiology
3) Clinical Manifestations (the most common and characteristic sign and
symptoms of this condition)
2. Establish three Differential Diagnosis for this condition (Blepharitis).
3. Create a comparative table with the main three differential diagnoses including:
a. Signs and symptoms they have in common, as well as the differences with the final diagnosis.
b. The final diagnosis (Including information to support your decision).
4. What diagnostic tests should be ordered to reach the final diagnosis and what findings help in making it.

Explain the strategies and thought processes that you used to formulate the code.

See Unit III doc attachment.

• Unit III Professor’s Introduction
You are being asked to create a code of ethics and explain how you came by it. In philosophy, many different theories have been developed that generate codes of ethics. They divide, first of all, between consequentialist systems of ethics, which say that the exclusive goal of ethical conduct is to pursue good consequences. (such as maximizing the total value of pleasure over pain), and those who think that there is something else which can take the place of consequences as a reason not to do something. For example, suppose a person is developing the tendency to act in Hitler-like ways, and is about to become the leader of your country. You fear his becoming the leader and the harm it would cause. But he has as yet committed no actual crime. Do you kill him? A consequentialist might say you should, but a non-consequentialist might argue that you cannot violate his right to life because you believe him likely to commit crimes once in office.
To help you with this assignment, I will be putting up several videos and power points laying out various ethical theories which will help you in developing your code of ethics. Please note: I expect you paper to make reference to at least one or two of these theories. This WILL affect your grade.
In the next unit we will apply our ethical code the the role of a business manager.

Instructions
This assignment provides you with an opportunity to create a code of ethics for you and your family, as well as to explain the strategies and thought processes that went into developing the code. First, create an original code of ethics for your family by thinking about your family as an organization. In your code of ethics, please include the following items:
• guiding principles,
• purpose of the code,
• core values,
• training and education (How will you train and educate others about the code?),
• definitions,
• who it covers,
• mission statement, and
• other pertinent elements you feel necessary to have a comprehensive code of ethics.
The next part of this assignment involves an evaluation, where you describe the thought process behind the code of ethics that you prepared. For the evaluation part of this assignment, draft an essay to include the following items:
• Identify the key roles of those who have a vested interest in the ethical behavior that your code defines.
• Explain the strategies and thought processes that you used to formulate the code.
• Explain how you would strategically implement and communicate the code to others in the organization.
• Explain how you will monitor the practice of ethical decision-making.
• Provided that laws exist and have been enacted for resolving conflict, why do we also need a code of ethics?
In the process of writing your code, you must research the topic of codes of ethics and incorporate at least two articles, no older than five years. Your code and evaluation must be at least 1,000 words. Format the code as you like; however, be sure it is professional and legible. Format the evaluation part of the assignment by using APA Style. Save both parts in one Word document.

Describe characteristics of the music genre’s style such as melody, rhythm, texture, and timbre, and reference three example pieces in your essay with YouTube links cited at the end.

Broadway musicals are a popular medium for breathing new life into historical figures—(Alexander) Hamilton—and presenting aspects of contemporary society and culture in a new way—The Book of Mormon. Unlike opera, which is typically set to Classical or modern art music, musicals tend to draw from contemporary popular music styles.

1. Select either an overlooked or misunderstood historical figure or a distinct sub-culture (not musically themed) and discuss what type of popular music would influence its presentation as a musical.
2. Describe characteristics of the music genre’s style such as melody, rhythm, texture, and timbre, and reference three example pieces in your essay with YouTube links cited at the end.
3. Explain how your chosen style of music would guide the audience’s attitude toward the historical figure or cultural group and, perhaps, offer an alternative viewpoint than ones frequently held.
4. What stagecraft details would further guide this interpretation?

Explain why Kant would conclude that these attempts were wrong.

Case of Elizabeth Bouvia: Is Kant right that Bouvia’s repeated atttempts at starvation wrong? 1. Provide a brief overview of the case not assuming the reader is familiar. 2. Explain why Kant would conclude that these attempts were wrong. It’s not enough to note that Kant thinks suicide is wrong. Instead, you must explain why he comes to this conclusion. Include an explanation of key concepts, ideas, or principles like the categorical imperative, persons, reason, inclination, etc. 3. Provide a rigorous evaluation of the Kantian argument for why Bouvia’s repeated attempts at starvation were wrong. Consider an objection to the claim that Bouvia’s attempts were wrong. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the objection.

I wish to support a thesis that it is wrong, thus Kant is correct. She clearly showed ambivalence, and placed caregivers in an untenable situation.
