Discuss the differences between the three major approaches surrounding collection and analysis of data, i,e., quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods. As well as, describe the design of scientific inquiry that may go with each method i.e., survey, narrative, phenomenological, ethnographic, grounded theory, or case study and why it would be selected. Then address which method and design you think you would prefer to use to conduct research and why.

Write a summary that describes what future law enforcement and security professionals should learn from your study of these two groups.

There are many terrorist groups to choose from so take some time to look through the lists and terrorist groups profiles provided by the National Counterterrorism Center http://www.nctc.gov/site/groups/index.html and the START terrorism database

This section should briefly describe the groups that were chosen for this paper and why.

This is the most important section of your paper. It is a critical analysis of which group has been more successful in using terrorism toward achieving the objectives outlined in its ideology and why. Be sure to address issues of leadership, environment, support, and whatever else you can attribute the group’s relative successes or failures.

Write a summary that describes what future law enforcement and security professionals should learn from your study of these two groups.

They must include footnotes and research citations using whatever citation format (APA, Chicago, MLA) you are most comfortable with. Your paper should draw on qualified resources (i.e., no Wikipedia or other questionable websites) and must include the list of works cited in your paper. Do not rely solely on Internet sources; thorough research is expected and should use scholarly books, journals, newspapers, and online databases. Also, please look at the case studies and other materials provided to you in the Resources folder of the course website.

Identify existing assets and resources (human and material) in the community or geographic region using the asset mapping strategy.

Answer the 2 following questions down below
the topic is : The community that we chose for this project is Toronto therefore, For this project, our focus is on youth mental health in Toronto and the impact of Covid-19. We are creating this project to gain additional knowledge and research within the topic we chose. The goal of this project is to have webinars to share with others. The objective to make our project successful is to create awareness within the community. As a result of making this project, we will show the challenges that were faced by youth but also how to overcome them. Answer the following questions down below about the topic

1. Identifying the community’s resources and capacity for change
Identify existing assets and resources (human and material) in the community or geographic region using the asset mapping strategy. (Also consider how the resources would be obtained for the successful implementation and maintenance of your group project.)

2. How will your project be catalyst for change and how will the work that you initiate continue on in the future? Identify any influential community members, political platforms, organizations, or groups who are working on the issue and might be helpful for your project (provide a rationale for their inclusion: for example: do they possess power within the community?).

Write your own story using these same questions and prompts from the Shah (2018) article.

full instructions attached.

Part 1:
1. For this part of the assignment you will identify a leader. This can be a leader you
identify in your community, your organization, school, etc. Approach this person about
conducting an interview for this assignment. Assure their confidentiality, change their
name if they request it, and inform them about how this interview will be used. You can
say something like: “This interview will be used for my class on global leadership. We
want to learn more about your own identity, your similarities or differences with the
people you serve as a leader, and how this shapes your leadership style. We are
especially interested in concepts of social justice and leadership. This will only be read
by our instructor and shared with a peer in class.”
It would be ideal to record the interview if they give permission. Otherwise, take as
detailed notes as possible.
2.Write your own story using these same questions and prompts from the Shah
(2018) article.
Bring your own testimonio or narrative in written form to class. Also bring detailed notes of the
interview to class. You will be paired with a peer to “workshop” and discuss the interviews and
readings together.
Part 2:
Submit a 5-page paper with your analysis of the interview and your own narrative. Compare
both of the experiences. Use the Praxis – Dimensions – Capacities framework from Furhman
(2012) (from Module 9) to organize your analysis. You can modify it for social work wherever
needed. For example, if the model refers to a school setting, apply it to your social work setting.
To help you analyze the experiences of people from minoritized identities, as well as leadership
and advocacy work, please make sure to include the Koshy (2006), Martinez et al (2016), and
Hernandez & Murakami (2016) articles in your analysis (from Module 10). What other
characteristics of leadership do they address? Is that reflected in your narrative or the interview?
How does a nepantlera perspective help you understand social justice work? Are any aspects of
nepantlera present in the interview or your own story?
