pro-euthanasia utilitarian argument

Your papers for this class are to be position (or argumentative) papers. This means that you are to choose an interesting moral controversy or debate and argue for one side. In doing so you should give the relevant arguments for both sides of the issue (providing reasons in support of them), consider objections to both sides, consider possible replies to these objections, and ultimately take a position regarding the outcome of such an analysis. Defend your views with reasons!

Some sample topics might be:

1. Argue whether abortion is ever morally justified.
2. Argue whether pre-emptive wars are morally justified.
3. Argue whether causing harm to animals via eating meat is morally justified.
4. Argue whether or not Euthanasia is morally justified.

Make sure you identify which Rubric/Standard/Moral Theory you are using to evaluate the “morality” of your issue.

Choose a subject/topic from our book.
Give examples.
Define key terms.
Don’t waste time: don’t write fluff: each sentence should be relevant to your thesis.
Use your own words.
The format is not important.
You don’t need to use footnotes if you reference our book.

Cognitive readjustment of military veterans after deployment with respect to PTSD, post-traumatic growth, and social support

This literature review (with an abstract) needs to be a summary of previous results of at least 8 other papers that came out of the same data set examined by Currier, Erbes, Frankfurt, James, and Mattson. (All papers are attached.) This data set has been examined across three time points covered by these 8 papers, starting in 2007 (Erbes). This literature review does not have to be more than 5000 words. I would like it to establish and summarize the predictors of PTSD and the predictors of post-traumatic growth at time point 1 (might need tables for these), along with the variables of interest, and 2 or 3 hypotheses for later time points. Lastly, I would like to address future directions for reasons of change. Other resources beyond the attached papers are fine.

Practical Science

Scenario
You work for the Division of Water Sourcing and Education (DOWSE), an international nonprofit organization. DOWSE is doing a project to study the health of global freshwater ecosystems.

The organization recently collected samples from two different locations in South America. The first sample shows signs of contamination. DOWSE hypothesizes that this is due to agricultural runoff from surrounding farms and ranches. The second set of data was collected from a nearby water source to be the “control” for comparison.

René Dey, your supervisor, has asked you to review the information and fill out the Water Analysis Report for the contaminated site. In the report, René also wants you to explain the possible causes of the contamination and recommend a solution.

Directions
Water Analysis Report
DOWNLOAD AND COMPLETE THE WATER ANALYSIS REPORT. First, finish filling in the table that already contains the data from the DOWSE team in South America.

Next, complete the Written Explanation section. In this section, address the following:

Identify how the scientists in South America determined their hypothesis.
Consider how the contaminated water impacted the surrounding environment and the people who live nearby.
Describe the scientific testing performed and the results the team found.
What were some of the testing procedures they used?
Describe the different types of data collected, and include their units of measurement, where applicable.
At what measurement is pH considered acceptable? What is the level of pH at the contaminated site?
At what NTU level is water considered acceptable? How many NTUs are being measured at the contaminated site?
What color is the water at the contaminated site?
Determine whether the scientific data collected supports or refutes the hypothesis. Consider the following:
How can low water pH cause problems for local people and wildlife?
What do you think is the cause of the higher-than-normal turbidity?
What does the color of the water tell you, and why is that important?
Do you think DOWSE’s hypothesis is right? Why or why not?
Identify a possible solution for the water problem in this location in South America, based on scientific methods and the provided data.
Is there anything in the nearby area that could be degrading the water quality?

What to Submit
Water Analysis Report
First, complete the table in the report. Then, write a 300- to 500-word explanation of what is wrong with the contaminated site and a possible solution for dealing with the problem.

Benchmark – Health Care Policy and Procedure Development (465)

S‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌elect one conflict issue from the Transitional Care scenario in the Allied Health Community and write a new policy and procedure related to the issue that identifies methods or practices of rationally and effectively discussing issues and resolving conflict. Write a 500-word memo to your supervisor (you may choose to use th‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌e “Health Care Policy and Procedure Memo” sample) that describes this issue and an explanation of how the new policy and procedure will resolve the issue. In the memo, include a draft of the policy and procedure. Be sure to include the research on industry standards that helped you formulate the policy and procedure‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌.

Clinical Case Study

P‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌urpose/Rationale The purpose of this assessment task is to assess the student nurses’ ability to think critically and apply the clinical reasoning cycle to plan patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be required to make judgments and prioritise your patient’s care multiple times per shift. This assessment task is designed to develop the sophisticated thinking abilities that are essential to prioritising, planning, and providing safe and effective patient-cent‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌red, nursing care. Task Details In this Clinical Case Study, you will be allocated one (1) nursing problem (see guidelines), you will be required to, discuss its relevance, then plan and evaluate patient-centred, nursing care. The nursing problems all relate to Darren Roberts’ care in the first 4 hours of his discharge from PARU and return to the ward following his surgery. please the words must be 1,500 only ,if less or more you will lose from your final sco‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌re.

The Strategic Management Process

Please note that you will need to read Chapter 9 in the text book before completing this assignment.
Please follow all 4 steps.
Remember our discussion a few weeks ago about going to a company’s corporate website? You will easily find their mission and vision statements there. You will also find out a company’s current strategy from their annual reports and press releases. Please remember this part of the assignment; ‘Be specific and explain how it (the strategy) works with the company’s mission statement and how it relates to the SWOT analysis findings.”
In addition to your textbook reading, the attached links may be helpful for further explanation about SWOT analysis.

Select a company and write a 1-2 page paper on the 6 Steps of the Strategic Management Process, as described in Chapter 9 of the textbook. Be sure to read the chapter before writing this paper. Please remember to cite all of your sources including the textbook.
Step 1: Write down the mission statement of a real company.
Step 2: Research using the Internet and conduct an external analysis of the company, describing at least one Opportunity and one Threat.
Step 3: Conduct an internal analysis of the company, describing at least one Strength and one Weakness.
Step 4: Formulate the strategy, or write about what strategy the company is formulating. Be specific and explain how it works with the company’s mission statement and how it relates to the SWOT analysis findings.
I’ve attached an example for you to use for format and content. I would prefer you write about an actual business rather than a charitable organization. Please note that the citations are NOT in MLA format.
Thanks,

A paper about how e-commerce will be the future of marketing rather than in-person shopping.

Submissions must include the standard course cover page and formal reference page in APA 7th style.

The thesis I want to use is, In-person shopping has become pas·sé, as e-commerce is the future.

Leadership and Motivating People

P‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌lease put each of the 4 parts under a different heading. Just a reminder, make sure the paper includes sufficient evidence. Please do not merely add more words to meet the page requirement, but consider depth and new ideas or viewpoints that add value to the paper. NO repetition! Please be sure to have good and ample supporting evidence for each part. The paper must be detailed and well written. 1. Identify a company in the news during that last 12 months that has expressed what you believe to be a compelling vision for the future. Identify what you found particularly compelling about this vision and why you consider it to be a vision as opposed to just a “marketing message.” 2. Consider this statement from a senior leader: “That is a behavior than needs to be rewarded but‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ not promoted.” Imagine and describe a scenario in which an employee might have done something to prompt the senior leader to say this, and explain the rationale behind the leader’s statement. 3.There is seldom a reward for playing it safe and not taking risks. If you want people to take well-considered risks, how would you explain to them the difference between “good” risk taking that did not play out as desired and ill-considered mistakes? 4. Identify a job you have worked and assess it using the Hackman and Oldham model. Compare and contrast how you feel about that job with the results from your assessment. List and prioritize what you consider to be the most effective aspects of this model and, for the least effective aspect, describe how it might be improved from yo‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ur perspective.
