These can include brochures, organizations, books, articles, websites, and more. Include a descriiption for each resource including specific information. Feel free to refer to websites in previous units to help you in your search for useful resources.

Educational resource
Professional journal
Areas of current research
Each resource should be accompanied by a paragraph that includes the following information

Step 1: Reflect
Consider your past writing experiences. Look back and think critically (carefully, deliberately, and methodically) about your past experiences composing and writing, and how you feel about writing as a result.

Step 3: Compose
Compose the story of your writing experiences and goals as an integrated narrative. Do not simply answer the questions above; use the questions as a brainstorming and planning tool to help you dig deep as you process this learning experience for yourself and prepare a detailed written reflection for others. Make sure to organize your ideas in a way that helps your reader understand.

Discuss the following.

Your attitudes about what you’ve learned about writing up to this point.
The evolution of your writing.
Your perceptions about yourself as a writer.
Support your claims with evidence that explains why you feel the way you do. Include the following.

Detailed explanations.
Parts of texts you have written.
Visuals that support the message of the written text.
Step 4: Include Visual Examples
Include 1-2 visual examples (or evidence) of your experience with writing. Spend time selecting important examples that will show your readers something meaningful. This might include the following.

Engaging visuals, videos, or even audio content.
Screenshots of your previous work or feedback (a great way to show evidence).
Design features (such colored text, white space, and headings) to emphasize key words and phrases.
Step 5: Revise and Proofread
Revise and proofread your reflection for overall organization and flow within each paragraph.

Review the conflict of interest scenarios (parts 1 and 2). Identify the issue and indicate the regulation or best practice principle involved. How should the organization/provider respond to the issue? What should the organization/provider do to prevent future issues or mitigate any future harm/damage to the patient or the organization?

Essays should incorporate at least four BRIEF quotations from the play to support claims; these quotations should be no more than 4 or 5 lines in length each, preferably shorter. Outside sources must be documented MLA style.

Discuss either Gertrude or Ophelia as a victim of the men who surround her and more generally, of the tradition of patriarchy itself. For example, Ophelia might be said by modern readers to be “too obedient,” or at least caught between obeying her father and obeying Hamlet’s wishes. However, she is in most respects (except for her probable affair with Hamlet) a model of the traditional “virtue” of obedience. Similarly, Gertrude is under political pressure to remarry as soon as her husband dies, since war threatens and a queen is deemed unfit to lead in battle. Not only that, but her very probable love connection with Claudius before he murders Hamlet the First argues that she too is susceptible to the “weak will” of women, which if it exists (as we have discussed) is in fact created by the very patriarchy that condemns it. You could also discuss Ophelia’s madness, which while often seen as a sign of her feminine weakness, may have been her only means of gaining the power to openly express her feelings of heartbreak and betrayal.

The term paper is a comprehensive semester-long project. Students will complete this project in the
steps described below. Your Term Paper is your major contribution, where you will exhibit your
learning. Students will develop a business plan for a company that they would like to establish in any
area that might be related to sports: Sports team, athletic facility (gym, stadium, arena, etc.), services
(medical, recreational, etc.), or other.
In your plan, consider the following suggested (but not required) elements:

Marketing plan – What is the size of market you will go after? How would you assess that?
What ways and means would you engage to explore and win the necessary market segments for
your success?
Financial plan – Where would the initial capital come from? Predict the cash flow in the first

Legal Plan – What legal challenges would have to be addressed? How would you make sure

This project will incorporate important concepts and frameworks introduced throughout the course and
will demonstrate the students’ ability to understand and properly apply these concepts in real-life
contexts.
Parameters and guidelines for the term paper are as follows:
 Develop an organization, e.g., a corporation, company, firm or association for in-depth
analysis of sports management practices.
 The term paper should be at least 1,500 words with at least 3 scholarly references in addition
to your eText for a minimum of 4 total references. Please keep in mind that the word count
requirements point out the minimum amount of effort that should be put into the paper. Word
count isn’t everything because quality of writing and research matters as well, but it is an
indication of the quantity of effort put into the assignment. Note that word count does not
include title, abstract, or reference pages. Not following this requirement will significantly
impact the grade.
 Use scholarly peer-reviewed references rather than websites. Scholarly references are
generally more credible and make a more persuasive argument. Non-academic websites are
not typically recommended for academic writing. While most of the information generally is
correct, it is not always reliable because anyone can change the content, bias is often present,
and it is not peer-reviewed. For example, it’s best not to use news websites, Wikipedia,
investopedia.com, about.com, smallbusiness.chron.com, huffingtonpost.com, ehow.com,
forbes.com, cnn.com, online encyclopedias, or similar non-academic websites. Articles in
these types of websites are written by reporters or individuals who may or may not be experts
in the field, and consequently may have incorrect or biased information. Instead, it adds
much more credibility to use the class eText, other related textbooks, and peer-reviewed
articles, i.e. scholars have analyzed and evaluated the content for accuracy, quality, and
reliability. Be sure to use the university library to help you find these types of scholarly
references. The library has a setting in database searches that allow you to search for peer-
reviewed articles only.
 The Term Paper should be well organized and encompass the above subject and content
guidelines, and an electronic copy of the project should be submitted via Turnitin
