Cloud Security Alliance, life cycle of a cloud-based solution, Pareto principle, and cloud migrations.

Please review the follow 4 parts and explain all sections.

PART
– A
The Cloud Security Alliance is a not-for-profit organization,
the goal of which is to promote education of cloud security issues. The Cloud
Security Alliance consists of a large coalition of cloud practitioners, companies,
associations, and other cloud stakeholders. Visit the https://cloudsecurityalliance.org/
website. Explain the following:

MUST HAVE all the following with 2 Pages and 1 citation in APA
format
1.
Produce a list of cloud security topics one should understand in
preparation for taking the cloud kno wledge certification exam.
2.
Based upon that list, formulate a risk-based matrix for
assessment.
3.
What is the largest risk?
4.
What is the smallest?
5.
Based upon the risk matrix you have created, explain how these
might impact the choosing of a particular cloud solution or vendor.
PART
– B
When
we evaluate the litany of options, it is easy to get lost in the sea of options
for cloud vending (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IDaaS, etc.). There are many tools to help
facilitate the process of vendor selection in addition to moving data once a
vendor has been identified. There are various companies that offer an
off-the-shelf-product for use. In addition, there are a litany of COTS life
cycle solutions for managing private cloud deployments and optimizing the
underlying virtual devices. Explain the following:
MUST HAVE all the following with 2 Pages and 1 citation in APA
format
1.
Discuss how cloud-management considerations may vary across the
life cycle of a cloud-based solution.
2.
What specific tools are employed for cloud governance?
PART
– C
Whether
you are developing code, monitoring system utilization, or debugging an
application, you need to consider the Pareto principle, also known as the 80/20
rule, or the rule of the vital few and the trivial many. If you consider the Pareto
principle, you may find that you do not need to optimize all of an
application’s code. Instead, you can focus your effort on 20% of the code that
users use most often. Consider system performance monitoring. Explain the following:
MUST HAVE all the following with 2 Pages and 1 citation in APA
format
1.
What other relationships, such as disk space use or database
space use, may relate to the Pareto principle?
2.
How do these fit into the current cloud paradigm?
3.
Does this work for all cloud facets (IaaS, PaaS, etc.) or does
it only work for specific cloud mediums?
4.
Why or why not?
PART
– D
When
deploying cloud solutions, it is important to ensure that the system’s life
cycle development process as well as risk management and disaster recovery have
all been factored in these cloud migrations and processes. Explain the following:
MUST HAVE all the following with 2 Pages and 1 citation in APA
format
1.
what is the cloud?
2.
In your estimation, how does the cloud fit into enterprise and
business in today’s market?
3.
Outline the strengths and weaknesses for small, medium and large
size entities from moving to the cloud.
4.
Provide justification for each one of these for and against and
utilize research and rhetoric to make your case.

How to Get Your Brain to Focus | Chris Bailey | TEDxManchester

Structure your essay with a section heading (centered, bold, title case) for each of the three body sections and conclusion. In each section, write one or more paragraphs responding to the questions outlined below.
Set up your essay in APA format with title and reference pages. Use the template provided in Files. Cite the talk on a reference page in the following format.
Speakerlastname, Initial. Initial. (Year, Month day). Title of talk. URL
In a two- to three-page essay (600–900 words), address the following questions.
Introduction (No heading needed for introductions)
What is your purpose for writing?
How will your analysis essay be organized? Indicate the analysis sections in a sentence.
What is the TED speaker’s topic?
What is the speaker’s connection to the topic, and from what angle does the speaker approach the topic?
What is the speaker’s overall perspective or opinion on the argument? Whether it is clearly stated or not, identify what you think is your speaker’s central thesis.
What is your thesis regarding the quality of the speaker’s argument, including your overall judgment of this speaker’s effectiveness?
Rhetorical Situations (This is your most important and detailed section. Consider writing two to three paragraphs. Be sure to explain yourself.)
Who is the speaker’s target audience?
What is the speaker’s purpose? What does the speaker want the audience to do with the information they are presented with?
What is the context of the TED Talk? What historical or current event information is presented (or is missing) to help the audience understand the argument?
What rhetorical appeals (reason, emotion, credibility) does the speaker use to help strengthen the argument?
Evidence (Don’t just summarize the talk. Write at least one solid paragraph with detailed examples as well as explain how the evidence supports the speaker’s argument.)
What types of evidence does the speaker use?
Does the evidence seem credible, timely, and relevant? Why, or why not?
What additional information do you want to know about the topic?
Presentation (In a paragraph, consider both the argument’s structure and the speaker’s actual presentation skills.)
How does the speaker introduce the topic and engage the audience?
Does the speaker conclude the talk in an effective and memorable way?
Does the speaker use good presentation skills while delivering the message? Consider use of images or other visual aids, vocal qualities, use of humor, body language, connection with the audience, and so forth.
Conclusion
Wrap up your reflections on the TED speaker’s presentation.
What is your overall judgment of the argument’s quality and effectiveness based on your answers to the questions above?

Jefferson, Madison, Monroe Era SHORT ESSAY

Type a 2 – 3 page double-spaced short essay on ONLY 1 of the following questions. Submit and turn in here in blackboard.
Reserach the topics on the internet and use some of the resources from the readings folders for this week. Here are some links to the free online textbook reading over these topics:
Chapter 8 Section 3 – scroll down until you get to Jefferson
Chapter 8 Section 4 – Jefferson’s second term and Madison’s War of 1812
Discuss the transformation of the Republican Party between 1800 and 1824. How did Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe contribute to altering the original ideology of the Republican Party? Look at issues such as states’ rights, the agrarian ideal, the appeal to the common man, and strict construction of the Constitution, and assess the extent to which Republican views on these issues were preserved or altered during the party’s domination of national politics between 1800 and 1824.
Discuss the War of 1812 as the Second War for American Independence. What issues pushed the United States into war with Britain? Were all of the factors that contributed to the war defensive, or was there evidence of some degree of aggression among War Hawks? Even though the war ended as a draw, did Americans succeed in proving anything to themselves or to Britain? What issues were resolved as a result of the war?
Discuss American foreign policy between 1800 and 1824. What issues defined American foreign policy during the early 1800s? Was American policy defensive or aggressive? Were there sectional implications in foreign policy? How did foreign policy during this period promote nationalism? (Here you can look at how Jefferson handled foreign policy and his Embargo Act, you can look at how Madison handled the British, and take a very close look at the Monroe Doctrine from Monroe’s presidency)

Unit Discussion Principles of Supervision

For this discussion, Answer the following units 2,4, and 6 to its entirety:

(UNIT 2)
Please create a post telling the class about a supervisor you have worked for that stands out in your mind as exceptionally good or bad.
Provide an overview of the situation… no names please, just use job titles.
What was it about them that caused you to feel this way?
Which style would you say that person displayed?
What lessons can you take away from that experience that might guide your actions in future?
While work experience are what is asked for, if you have never worked, you may use an experience with someone in a position of leadership you have encountered.)

(UNIT 4)
Using an internet search engine, find the mission statement of a company you have had experience with, and post a link to it in your discussion post. In your post, tell the class if you think the statement adequately addresses ethical aspects of the business, and why.

(UNIT 6)
Share with the class your experience with a supervisor who you consider as being one of the best (or worst) you can recall, and why they stand out to you.

What bases of power did they exhibit?

Regardless of whether you considered them “good” or “bad”, give one counterpoint; what could they have done better, or what did you think they did do well?

Finally, what lesson can you take from having observed them and apply to your own style or career?

Your original post should directly and fully respond to the topic(s) the discussion relates to. All posts should consist of complete sentences, with proper spelling and punctuation.
