Write a paper on Impact of COVID19 on Retail Supply Chain.Critically
Appraise the impact of COVID-19 on the supply chain of the Retail Industry.
Appraise how the supply chain
structure has been changed because of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Evaluate how the industry/sector
has managed (or still manages) to tackle inventory management
related issues that arose after the COVID-19 breakout.
Discuss how advanced technologies
(e.g., Big Data analytics, Internet of Things, Multichannel) may help the
industry/sector to recover and improve its overall supply chain
performance.
For each question above, we need to support our arguments by bringing into the
discussion 1-2 examples of companies that belong to the selected
sector/industry in this case the retail Industry. The following is also important when
submitting the assignment:

Quality
of executive summary (does it give a brief complete summary of your paper for
an executive to read?)

Establishment
of relevant theory (e.g. how supply chain environments are differentiated from
region to region?)

Allocation
of credit and sources used (have I included references and citations to the
material I have used?)

Clarity
of argument

Adherence
to the nominated word limit (+/- 10%). The assignment is max 3000 words and we need
to ignore the word count for reference list and executive summary. The +/-10%
is for the citations within the assignment.

We
need to use the Harvard Referencing System.

Is Bradbury looking for a dystopian society as the answer to humanities’ problems?

While we have books banned in our time (Mockingbird is banned), Hitler pretty much did the same thing. Anyone who spoke out against him or challenged his authority ended up murdered with a cover up, OR anyone who failed or refused to raise his right arm and say “Heil Hitler!” usually ended up in a concentration camp. And today in our very time, books are banned. So, between Bradbury and Orwell, we are living what they wrote to an extent.
But what opinion regarding Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury do you see a political bent towards? Is Bradbury looking for a dystopian society as the answer to humanities’ problems? How so or how not so?
Thanks.
Steve

Do you think ideology is important and relevant today?

Essay #2: Political Ideology & Socialization

1. Based on the second chapter in the textbook, and based on the liberal/conservative definitions from the book, the PowerPoint and online, what do you consider your political ideology to be? Which “side” do you feel you lean more to? Are you a liberal or conservative, and in a classic or modern sense? Feel free to use the textbook as a source since it goes into detail about these labels and their definitions, but you can also use online sources including political quizzes.

2. Extreme Ideologies.Chapter 1 & 2 mention ideologies such as Socialism, Communism, Fascism, etc. Pick one of these and provide some analysis reflecting your opinion of that extreme ideology. Is there anything about these ideologies that interest you and affect your opinion, or are there flaws and problems that you disagree with? Do you know any examples of countries that may attempted to implemented these extremes? You want to express your views but also use sources to back up examples you may use

3. How do you think you were socialized politically? You can write this as narrative describing how you feel you first learned about and became opinionated about politics, whether there was a specific event that you feel most defined how you view politics today, but make sure that in this section you clearly explain in your writing how you feel at least TWO of the 6 “agents” of socialization have most affected your political opinions.

4. Lastly, wrap it up by giving your opinion as to whether you think ideology “helps” or “hurts” politics. Do you think ideology is important and relevant today? Why or why not? You can point out facts to explain your argument but you can also describe personal experiences.

Remember this has to follow APA guidelines with at least 4 pages & 4 sources (not counting the works cited page).

Essay #2 is due SUNDAY, March 13 by midnight

Ideology Quizzes Online (There are others besides these, but these tend to be popular. I suggest you take 3 or 5, so that if you 2 out of 3 leaning one way or 3 out of 5 leaning another way that’s what you use to write)
