At the beginning of class you created the requirements for an Address Book application. Using this as a guide create a design proposal for a full scale web application that can be used anywhere. Your design should include the following elements:
Requirements for your application from the point of view of the users of the application.
Design of the web pages they will interact with, i.e. what the user interface will look like.
What the server does, i.e. how the client (web browser) communicates with the server and how the server processes the requests.
How the data will be stored and how the server will communicate with the data store.
What technology you will use to generate your web pages – e.g. will they be entirely generated by the web server, static pages that use JavaScript to populate the data once loaded, or something entirely different.
Include a test plan if you think that is appropriate.
You should include images, diagrams and snippets of code where appropriate. You are welcome to reuse any of the previous work in this class provided it is appropriate to this content. Please remember that as with the other assignments you are designing a specific application. You are not writing about designing an application in general.

Please research and write an essay of 4 to 6 pages. You should summarize and clearly demonstrate your understanding of all the main points of
Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration) v. Vavilov, 2019 SCC 65
(not Dunsmuir v New Brunswick 2008 SCC 9)
in at least 2 to 4 paragraphs. Then note up Vavilov to find three cases of interest to you that discuss and apply either of those cases (or a total of 3 cases applying either Vavilov. This can be in the form of a short essay noting the use and application of Vavilov.
You may find 3 cases in any court and in any jurisdiction. You may focus on a province if you like or on a topic area say immigration, regulatory or aboriginal law. Please ensure the 3 cases give you enough so that you can describe what those cases do in applying Vavilov, how they do it and briefly what you think of the decision’s use of the case. What are the main administrative law issues in each case and how do Vavilov help answer those? Do those decisions involve a straight application of these SCC cases, or do they refine their principles? Please briefly describe the main administrative law issues arising even if they are not answered by Vavilov.

Explain the likelihood of nuclear war using each of the three major theories that we have studied in this class.

Theories are Perspectivism, Realism/liberalism, constructivism.

The online test will be on the week commencing 21st March. The online questions will be released on 4pm Thursday 24th March with the completion deadline of 4pm Friday 25th March.
