Introduction: Background checks are generally conducted with the final candidate in the selection process. A background check can include employment and education verification, references, criminal history, and other sources if they pertain to the job. For this assignment, you will describe potential legal issues associated with background checks. You will also be reviewing a scenario and making a recommendation on what action to take.

Scenario: You are the hiring manager for a new large outdoor drive-in movie theatre and need to fill a position for a concessions supervisor. People have the tendency to see other cultures from their own point of view. They acknowledge their own culture and its behaviors as the norm—all other cultures are seen as foreign, or even secretive. In this unit’s reading, we look at critical incident analysis (CIA) that helps support an unbiased response to cultural variances by allowing managers to demonstrate empathy related to other points of view. Using the CIA method, describe a situation that you or someone you know has experienced where a cross-cultural misunderstanding took place. A work situation is best, but if you don’t have that kind of an example you can look broadly at other situations.
Describe what essentially occurred, and how a culturally sensitive reaction could have been achievable if you or someone you know had used CIA. Look at the theories and suggestions in the readings regarding having success in cross-cultural settings and within your response, explain in detail what can specifically be done to ensure that these behaviors do not take place in the future.
Use one of the theoretical frameworks of cultural interpretation (Hofstede, Hall, etc.) presented in our readings and apply this approach to the situation.

Identifying the drug or drug category you chose. This is where reading ahead to the requirements of the next two parts of the project will be helpful, because you will know how broad or narrow to make your topic. 3) Minimal use of direct quotes: This project requires individual interpretation of information. The Bill of Rights is designed to protect citizens from the potential of tyranny of the government. We discussed the purpose of a number of Amendments and the logic behind why the are included in limits to the government. We also discussed that the ambiguity of these amendments can be potentially problematic. At the same time the simplicity of the statements allow for a wide range of interpretations. Is it necessary that they remain ambiguous? Are the current rights comprehensive enough or should we consider a new set of Amendments/rights to add (if so, what would they be)? The most significant database utilized when formulating the PICOT question was PubMed data base. I manipulated PubMed’s information by reading the article and applying positive outcomes that relates to my PICOT question. There is an abstract that disclose a generalized point of view in the article. I reviewed the methods, results and conclusive outcome that correspond to my PICOT question.
My PICOT question is using interventional method to answer if emergency room average wait time affects the patient’s outcome (Morley. C et al,. 2018). Being in the ED, I’ve witness extensive wait times and patient acuity change from stable to unstable. The high volume makes it nearly impossible to see everyone accordingly. An acuity level system helps separate emergent patient who need to be evaluated sooner than urgent patients who can wait a little longer. A documented study gives the reader like myself additional information to answer my PICOT question.

I used a database that has credible resources as well. The article I selected is a secondary source based on other documented articles. The search strategy to find these articles were explained, numerous sources exceeding 4,000 articles were included, and a common factor was discovered in the results.
