Consider yourself a strategic business partner in constructing and implementing an organizational intervention. Research a company that you have read about either in the newspaper or online that you feel should undergo an organizational transformation (Examples: Apple, Bank of America, Wal-Mart, Comcast, Chevy, Wachovia Bank, Aetna, etc.) Through research, you will gather information and insights that will help you develop a strategic change intervention for the company. The change intervention may attempt to affect change and improve areas such as human resources, marketing, finance, the organizational structure, or its decision-making processes of the company. This project will help you to understand how the organizational change process works and will give you some relevant experience analyzing and planning change for an organization. You are a new nursing graduate assigned to a busy Emergency Department (ED) at a level I Trauma Center. The ED has just been
notified by local EMS that a multiple vehicle pile-up on the interstate has just occurred with several injuries.
The first victims to arrive in your ED is a family of four who just arrived in the United States from India one week ago, due to a job
promotion of the mother. She is to start her new job on Monday. The family consists of a father, mother, and two children, ages, 14
years (son) and 17 years (daughter). None of their injuries appear life threatening. As an intake nurse interviewing the family, you
observe that the father has difficulty breathing, complains of a sore throat, and extreme fatigue. You notify the ED physician
immediately.
You assess the father. You find the father has a fever of 103.2, complains of diarrhea, chills, nasal congestion, and headache. The
father states that he thinks he may have caught a cold from the cold airplane air. The son complains of a headache and nausea. He has
no fever. The mother and daughter have no complaints. The physician orders an Antigen Test for SARS-CoV-2 for the entire family.
The Antigen Test for SARS-CoV-2 results reveal that the father and daughter are positive for active Covid-19 disease. The results of the
test for the son and mother are negative. In assessing the daughter more thoroughly, she reports that she has had no symptoms for
Covid-19 disease in the last 6 weeks.
You ask about the family activities before and after their relocation to the United States. The father works from home as a data
analysis expert. He cooks for the entire family and they eat at home. The daughter has been attending school remotely but likes to

Students should read and analyze the National Football League and Brain Injuries case. Students must prepare a paper analyzing the issues. The paper SHOULD NOT be a lengthy summary of the case but an analysis of what occurred with a focus on recommendations. At a minimum, the students should cover the following:
