powerpoint presentation/employment law

You are responsible for training new managers on key employment policies and practices. For this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation that includes information on the following topics:
protected classes under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and how the Act applies to staffing decisions;
employer conduct that violates anti-discrimination laws;
the importance of the Civil Rights Act in eliminating racial discrimination in the workplace;
the role of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in workplace discrimination regulations; and
documentation needed to defend retaliation claims.
You must use at least three sources, one of which may be your textbook. Consider the value of using actual case decisions to exemplify the regulation for your managers. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
This APA for PowerPoint example provided by the CSU Writing Center shows this type of formatting.
Your presentation should be eight to 10 slides, not including the title and reference slides. You are encouraged to use the slide notes function to explain slide contents as necessary or to add additional talking points you would want to discuss in your training.
The CSU Writing Center’s tutorial, PowerPoint Basics , is an excellent resource for PowerPoint best practices and formatting assistance. A transcript for the presentation can be accessed by clicking on the paperclip icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the presentation.

ATD COMPETENCY CHECK

The assignment will need visual chat.

DETT621 Online Learning and Development in the Workplace
Assignment 3: ATD Competency Check
Learning and Development in a Selected Organization
(15% of final grade)
See Course Schedule for Due Date
For this assignment, you will use your Assignment 2: Needs Analysis and the ATD Impacting Organizational Capability competencies (https://tdcapability.org/#/).
In your first assignment, you started the case study that gave you context for your course project and helped you to determine the foundational knowledge about your organization. In the second assignment, you completed the needs analysis for your organization. The needs analysis shows the needs for learning and development in the organization, which allows you to see both the strengths your organization currently has and the opportunities for development. These opportunities will help you complete a competency check.
Assignment 3’s Competency Check will give you the chance to use the Association for Talent Development’s (ATD) Talent Development Capability Model. This model is broken into three areas:
• Building Personal Capability
• Developing Professional Capability
• Impacting Organizational Capability
For Assignment 3, you want to explore the three areas of the model. Your focus should be on the competencies that would help you with your organization’s training and development needs. While some organizations may utilize all the capabilities and skills listed, you want to explore the model and begin to pull out items that would be most relevant to the scenario you have created for your course project.
For Assignment 3, you want to choose three (3) capabilities from the Talent Development Capability Model focus areas. The knowledge and skills statements from each capability willhelp you begin to conceptualize how you would best use this item.
Once you have a minimum of three (3) capabilities from any of the three focus areas, you will use that capability and corresponding knowledge and skills statements to review two specific elements:
1. Definition of the capability
2. Knowledge and skill statement
Using these capabilities, review your Needs Analysis. Think about how you can use the ATD Talent Development Capability Model competencies to address the needs you uncovered in your analysis. Begin to brainstorm on how you could potentially address the needs based on the ATD guidelines. This will be helpful in your final assignment.
The final product for this assignment should be a visual chart. You want to show how the needs of your organization can be supported with a competency and/or knowledge and skills statement from ATD. This will help you complete your final project.
You can use application like Lucidchart, Visual Chart, Piktochart, MindMeister, MindMup.

For this week’s dialogue, please respond to the prompt stated below.

This week you will read the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), arguably the most important international human rights document in the history of the world. To what extent do you personally make purchasing choices based on a company’s social responsibility, brand, or reputation? Explain what motivates you to make these choices. Explain your opinion.

We’ve all grown up with varying degrees of “save the planet” rules, regulations, and suggestions. Natural resources have been used, abused, and depleted throughout the lifetime of civilization to the point where we are reaching out more to harness wind and solar power to help sustain future generations. Humans are one of the biggest disrupters of ecosystems. We throw aside so much waste, from wrecked vehicles to product packaging, that we have become desensitized to the damage we are creating.

Today, many businesses have developed corporate social responsibility (CSR) plans to address environmental damage caused by civilization. Companies like Walt Disney, Lego, Google, Ben and Jerry’s, and many others are devoting money and time to making the world a better place.
Please respond to the following:
