Please view the PowerPoint to answer the following questions from 1-7

Question 1: Define the terms contextual interference and the contextual interference effect as they relate to the learning and performance of multiple skills or multiple variations of skill and discuss how the amount of contextual interference relates to the types of practice schedules that could be developed for situations in which people must learn multiple skills or multiple variations of a skill.

Question 2: Describe four practice schedules that involve different amounts of contextual interference and locate each on a continuum that ranges from low to high amounts of contextual interference.

Question 3: How do mass and distributed intertrial interval schedules differentially influence the learning of discrete and continuous motor skills? Why do you think there is a difference in how massed and distributed intertrial interval schedules influence the learning of discrete and continuous skills?

Question 4: How can you decide whether people would learn a skill best if they practiced it as a whole or in parts? Give a motor skill example to show how to apply these rules.

robotic surgery

Compose an informative essay that explores a new technological development in your field of study. (my topic is Robotic assistant Sugery in the medical field. )

In addition to explaining to your audience about the technology, you must also argue whether or not you believe this technology is ultimately beneficial to the field, elaborating why or why not by exploring potential applications, dangers, and/or limitations. For instance, while digitized textbooks may sound like a novel resource in education, what about students who do not have regular or reliable internet access?

In order to help you to explain your technology, you should conduct research on your topic and incorporate quotations and paraphrases from three outside sources within your essay. (More Paraphrase)

Note: When composing an informative essay, you must achieve accuracy and disclosure throughout your writing. In other words, always endeavor to present correct information (reinforced through your research and outside sources), and be sure that you provide your reader with sufficient background and detail about your topic, especially considering that they may not be familiar with this technology.

Requirement: a 1,000-word essay (not counting the Works Cited page), typed and double-spaced.
Use Times New Roman font in 12-pt size.

Theories of Psychotherapy Discussion Response to Student Post

Another Students DIscussion Post:

Carl Rogers Person Centered philosophy is based on the idea that, in a supportive environment, humans will strive toward their best potential. We strive toward reaching our ideal self concept, but we also thrive in community, as we are most fulfilled when we feel that we are positive contributors to society.
One of the positive things about person centered therapy is that it is a judge free zone. It is centered around encouraging a person to become ones best self. People have a natural tendency to behave in ways that preserve their health and well being, at a very basic level. At a more developed level, humans have specific ideas of what a successful person looks like, or behaviors and habits that they deem good or bad. When a person acts contrary to what they consider “good”, they have a natural guilt as a result.
Striving toward a sense of the ideal self with the support of peers and community, means moving closer to the state of self actualization – which is the ultimate goal. Roger used the term “congruent” to describe a healthy person. Congruence means one’s experiences are consistent with their perception of self. How can a therapist or community support this? We can value and praise the person (child) even though all their behaviors are not equally valued. One may still have negative feelings and experiences, but giving full support to the person in all of his or her value while guiding them over the bumps in the road, which may be disorder thoughts or behavior is the key to this kind of therapy.
In a perfect world, individuals could develop in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard – but this is not a perfect world. We are judged by external and internal locuses of evaluation that may go a little askew. The perception of good or bad according to the way others around us perceive or act is the external locus of evaluation. Trusting oneself to follow the right path guided by ones internal value system is called the internal locus of evaluation. A negative consequence of this is if someone has a perfectionist idea of the “ideal self”. They may be in a constant state of guilt. Another negative thing about self regard is that we may be subject to the judgement of others, especially in the case of children. Some experiences are delightful to children, and they may need to be re-directed. But under the wrong hand of “guidance”, a caregiver might shame the child, giving him an unreasonably negative idea of him or herself. For example, the book talked about the innocent girl delighting in her mud bath, much to the horror of her mother. Childlike pleasures may associated with negativity because of the reaction of an adult or authority figure. Children should be taught how to act in what is proper in the society in which they live, but they are sensitive, and will subject themselves under the feelings of guilt (or praise) to which we expose them most consistently. Some criticize Rogers for being to culturally narrow. Studies have shown that the Person Centered approach may be less effective in more collectivist societies, such as those of Asia where extreme humility is more of a virtue.

Criminal Behavior

The purpose
of this assignment is to assess students’ beliefs about what causes certain
behaviors. When you are thinking “causes”
don’t think about “why” someone might exhibit certain behaviors, but rather what
leads some people to be more likely than others to get to the point where they
would actually do those actions.
Directions:
For this assignment,
you will explore deviant, criminal and nuisance behaviors. First, you should define
deviant behavior and then list 3 different types of deviant, but maybe not
criminal behavior. Next, define criminal behavior and list 3 different types of
criminal offenses. You should spend time brainstorming a variety of possible causes
of criminality before listing them. Make
sure you consider crimes that are low level (i.e., traffic violations) and
higher level (i.e., violent) crimes. You can list adult and/or juvenile offenses
also. Third, list 3 nuisance behaviors that aren’t criminal (can’t get arrested
for it) and what causes people to engage in them. Note, for each type of behavior, there are
2 parts to the assignment: defining the behavior
and then filling in the table. The
last part of the assignment is to rank the behaviors from the least to most
severe in terms of going against norms (what is culturally acceptable).

Define deviant behavior (4 points):

List 3 different types of deviant behaviors (maybe use
a mix of ones that are both deviant and criminal). In the second column, list possible reasons these are
seen as deviant: (6 points)
Deviant Behaviors Why
Seen as Deviant (think harder than “they aren’t acceptable”)

Define Criminal Behavior (4 points):

In the first column, list 3 different criminal
behaviors. In the second column,
list what you think causes them (what makes one person more likely than
another to cross the line and commit that act). (6 points)
Criminal
Behavior Causes

Define nuisance behavior (4 points):

List 3 nuisance behaviors that aren’t criminal
(can’t get arrested for it) and what causes people to engage in them. (6 points)
Nuisance Behavior Possible
Causes

List the 3 nuisance behaviors, 3 deviant behaviors, and
3 criminal behaviors on the line below based on the range from mild violation
of norms to severe violation of norm.
You can list them if that’s easier from mildest to the most
severe. (10 points)

Discussion of Cases
Instructor will post few discussion questions on the following five cases on Moodle. Students are asked to participate in case discussion at online discussion room for each case. In addition, each student should choose one discussion question from each case and submit written answer to the discussion question of each case. Therefore, students are supposed to submit five written answers. The length of each answer would be one page.
