Discussion Post Topic – A user complains that her computer is responding very slowly. She also says that when booting the PC, it reports a lower value for memory than she assumed is available. 1) You could 1st search the subfamily “Desmodontinae evolution”, but if few articles or no articles are produced, then….
2) search the order Family “Phyllostomidae” (new world leaf-nosed bats) or even higher the order “Chiroptera” (all bats)
3) Sort by other factors, such as last ~5 years (2018-2023), then skim abstracts.

You should write a brief summary of the paper and upload both your summary, and the paper.
One major purpose of the this assignment is write and summarize what is known about the evolution of your species.

You could use other search engines like Google Scholar, or other sites–however, my main goal is to make sure students are reading the primary literature (the actual scientific studies by researchers, instead of the popular press reports written in secondary/popular/general public friendly articles. It’s important to read the source rather than what someone else takes from it, understands, or focuses on.)

Any relevant, scholarly article can be used for the assignment as long as it is about the Canada Lynx (Lynx canadensis) or the family in which they belong to (Felidae).

Throughout this course you will work towards creating a financial plan for a company as if you were its business manager. This week you will start your research that will be used in the Summative Assessments in Weeks 2, 4, and 6. You will not be able to change your company after this week.

Select a Fortune 500 company or another company you are familiar with. Consider pharmaceuticals, computer hardware, retail, or automotive industries for your selection. Research financial information and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company. You may find this information on Yahoo! For this question, I want to say that I performed average for this
course, and I engaged mostly with the guest speakers as they gave
insight on the coursework, and helped me further understand what
issues are present in the healthcare industry. I also do not study but grasp concepts from lectures and the guest speakers and break it
down in a way that I understand and comprehend the content. I could improve on taking more away from the guest speakers and try to
make more connections in the real world with how Canada’s
healthcare system is. Use this as the backbone for what you write.
