The aim of this assessment is to write a critical evaluation of the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II – specifically) that is used in evaluating and diagnosing individuals with depression.
Your evaluation must include a literature review of the current issues that are relevant to the use of the assessment tool in the area of applied psychology (adnormal psychology) that you have specified. You must also include a discussion of whether the assessment tool is appropriate for use in the area of applied psychology that you have selected – the argument here should be supported by the evidence provided in your literature review.
