(Side Note: Your Literature Review must include an Annotated Bibliography with a minimum of 15 sources.) The citation should be in the format you have chosen related to your field of study, target journal, and/or target CFP. Please identify your style of choice in the header.
Follow the description from the Purdue OWL: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/common_writing_assignments/annotated_bibliographies/index.html (Links to an external site.)
Suggestion: The more detailed your notes (to yourself while reading), the happier you will be when writing your literature review, proposal, and/or final project.
1. Begin with the sources you have already used. You may need to return to the sources (access them again) and reread them if it has been some time.
2. After annotating your existing sources, recognize gaps, missed terms, or unaddressed context that may require further research. Conduct research to find sources that will help you develop a demonstration of an extensive scholarship in your field. If you already have 15 sources, please find other text that will help you address the different areas of a Literature Review that may be missing.
