Article is to address the impact that dysfunction of one of the characteristics has on a specific area of school achievement and intervention that was used to address the impact of the dysfunction. You may choose any 3 of the 13 characteristic traits that we will be studying in class that you would like, but each article must focus on a different area of school achievement. You must have one article for each of the following areas:

You are to write a short (2-3) page review of the article. The article review must be typed and in APA style.
Guidelines for Article Summaries
• Article must come from a refereed or peer-reviewed journal. Be sure you understand what this means (i.e., no articles from general websites or blogs).
• Include a description/definition of the characteristic being addressed in the study.
• Include a description of how dysfunction of the characteristic impacts performance in one of the following areas: Behavior
• Describe the intervention that was used to address/support the dysfunction?
o What was done?
o For how long?
o How was it measured?
o Under what conditions?
o Include if the intervention was helpful or not.
• The format of the paper should be as follows:
o Double spaced
o APA format (7th Edition)
o Two to three pages in length
o Writing tips:
Use past tense
Write concisely, summarize when possible
Do not use quotations in your article summary
