Consult some Internet sources for information on one of the educational leaders below. Use different search engines as Google, Yahoo or Bing for your search.
Then write an Introductory Paragraph for a Problem/ Solution Essay. Explain a problem or problems the person faced as an educator/ professor and how he/ she solved that problem.
REMINDERS:
The introduction names the problem and indicates why it is important.
You may include how widespread the problem is/was and what effects it has/had on people or institutions.
You may use any of these types of introductions: funnel or attention getting (dramatic/funny story, surprising facts, historical).
At the end of the introduction, you propose a solution, which is the THESIS STATEMENT.
