In Module 2 we have been learning about the tools and methods available to do a sociological study. We have also been discussing how sociologists look at the world and why it is so important to use your sociological imagination when researching a topic. After you have learned about sociological methods and research practices (in Chapter 2) complete this discussion.
Briefly discuss one topic you might investigate if you were a sociologist? Why is this a sociological topic, say rather than a biological or environmental issue? What methods might you use for your research? Would you struggle with bias when researching this topic? How might your research findings be used by society? (For example, would someone use your research to decide which schools needed funding?)
