You are hired as the new administrator for a local hospice care facility. This facility has been on probation for over 5 years due to poor quality of care and severe policy violations. The facility owners have hired you to ensure that the staff complies with recommended care models that will enhance the image of hospice care. In university, you learned about the International Collaborative’s innovative 10/40 Model of Care. You have learned that this model is somehow an integration of all of the other models. The management has called you to a meeting to discuss the model and how it is implemented.
