Using knowledge gained throughout the course about the various areas of business, identify two (2) areas of business (chapters) that interest you enough to possibly pursue in more advanced business studies or career opportunities.
Describe those business areas/functions as they relate to chapter content.
Include internal and external factors about the functions that make it important to the successful operation of the business.
Be sure to incorporate your research into this area through citations. (As an example if marketing was the business function you were going to highlight, you would fully detail the marketing function of that company incorporating the competencies learned in the chapter. Specifically for marketing you may address the company’s branding and promotional strategies and how they contribute to the company’s success. You may include a description of their product lines and the market segments they target as well as the mediums used to reach those target markets.
Finally, you should include an overview of the jobs available within that company that are related to the role you have selected or roles that fall within the department that you have selected.
