Review the case study and other supplemental materials provided such as the executive summary to ensure you understand the public health issues that were addressed when the HIA was conducted.
After you have read and understood the case study, you need to review the HIA Preliminary Checklist
(Links to an external site.)
and select which items on the checklist (just use PART 1) were met by HIA you reviewed.
Write and then submit a summary that includes responses to the following:
Which case study you selected
Why was the HIA conducted?
What type of HIA was conducted? (see reading: Selecting the Type of HIA to Conduct)
What public health issues existed?
What items of the HIA Preliminary Checklist were fulfilled by this HIA and what items were not?
What were the recommendations of the HIA? Do you agree with the recommendations?

CONTENT REQUIREMENTS
1. Identify and explain the current TEXAS law regarding the
selection of most judges in Texas.
2. Identify and explain at least two other types of judicial
selection processes used in the U.S.
3. Choose whichever judicial selection method you think is
best and give at least two criteria explaining how and why you made your
choice. Possible criteria include: impartiality/independence, accountability, and competence of judges.
4. Describe who may or may not benefit from the position you
take in 3) above. Consider the impact on political parties, on justices, and the
individuals in the Texas court system. Also consider the impact in other areas,
e.g., economic, political, social.
5. List at least two
things you could do in order to engage the political process in Texas in
pursuit of your position in 3) above, be specific.
6. Cite at least
three (3) reliable, quality references within the body of the paper using the
Chicago Manual of Styles parenthetical citation style. You must have at least
three parenthetical citations in the body of the paper that correctly match the
sources properly formatted in the Works Cited Page at the end of the paper.

Using two (2) or more credible sources, write a discussion posting, discussing online backup. Discuss some online backup services or solutions that will keep your data safe.
Your sources should be properly cited, using APA format.

Imagine
you are a consultant for a company that uses psychological tests to
predict how successful job applicants might be on the job. The test is
being challenged in the courts. Discuss the types of evidence you would
use to defend the test. In your response, consider the concepts of
reliability and validity, and how they are related to one another.

7. Some questions to consider when writing the paper:
a. Is there a relationship between socioeconomic status and health/health outcomes?
b. Is health care a right or a privilege?

e. In an ideal world, what would your health care vision for America look like?
8. The scholarly paper should be in narrative format, 3 to 5 pages excluding the title and reference page.

You are the newly hired Market Research Analyst for the Walser Automotive Group (www.walser.com)
based out of Minneapolis. The Walser VP of Sales and Marketing has come
across three reports from McKinsey Quarterly (see attached).
The
VP is a busy doer rising through the ranks from the sales floor right
after high school. He is skeptical of the McKinsey type and their fancy
Mobilitys inflection point language. He has glanced through the
reports and complains that the three reports say the same thing.
Nevertheless, he is curious, if not intrigued. Tad apprehensive. He
wants you to read the three reports and write him a memo-in 1000-1200
words- on what the McKinsey researchers have to say that may impact
Walsers car dealership business in the coming decades. He is all set to
retire in three years, but only after settling in at Walser his two
college-going daughters who have already begun rotating through the
departments at this family-friendly car dealership chain

Lots of interesting, futuristic information/ideas in the three reports.
Use your judgment to structure the memo and in confining to the upper
word limit.
