My thought process on global issues has changed drastically. I
was surprised more about climate change. Its one of those things that I’ve
heard about for years but on from the surface. Getting more knowledge and what
it entails has create a deeper sense of purpose of why this matter so much. I
really feel more media propaganda should put it in our faces of what will
happen if nothing changes.
It has even sparked a little conspiracy theory inside
my head mentally. Especially when I started considering the
administrating of vaccines to children. Then we were covering how the
government was sterilizing the people to keep down the population to
help with climate control. Which is understandable I get it but I dont
want to be apart lol?

My migraine headaches will not go away.

History:
Susan is a 32-year-old white woman who presents to the clinic with recurrent
migraine. She reports that she has a moderate to severe migraine once a week,
on average. She uses SC Imitrex (sumatriptan), and most of the time the
headache resolves with one dose. She was told to return for a checkup if she
had to use the Imitrex more than two or three times a month. Susan is married
and has four children. She experienced her first migraine at age 18 and has no
other health problems. She was started on Imitrex and has had good results. She
is otherwise healthy. She reports a 2 to 4 cup a day intake of coffee; usually,
one of those cups is a double latte. She occasionally uses Excedrin Migraine
for relief of mild headacheshe thinks only once or twice a week. She has never
been hospitalized overnight for her migraines but has gone to the emergency
room for pain medicine before she was started on Imitrex.

Assessment:
Susan is afebrile, vital signs are all within normal limits (WNL), and her
weight is135 pounds (body mass index [BMI] is 24), which is stable. The
physical examination is completely WNL. Her neurological examination is
unremarkable.

You are asked to conduct an experiment on yourself. Each student will identify a behavior or experience that he/she would like to change. Students will develop an intervention to assist in reaching his/her goal. At the end of the experiment you will be able to assess whether or not you reached your goal.
Part I: DESIGNING YOUR EXPERIMENT
Identify a target behavior, feeling, or experience that you will attempt to increase or decrease. For example, stress level, cigarette smoking, water intake, checking social media, lateness, exercise.
Operationalize the target behavior so that you can measure frequency, duration, or quantity. For example, the amount of water you drank in a day; amount of time you exercised in a day, the level of stress based on a 0-10 scale.Your operational definition must be specific enough to be measured, and must be measured daily, at the same time each day. The target behavior, feeling, or thought you select must have a range, not just if it occurs or not.
Identify your goal.
Choose an intervention that will assist you in reaching your goal. For example, if your goal is to reduce lateness to work, your intervention could be setting an alarm to wake you an earlier time than usual.
Part II: CONDUCTING YOUR EXPERIMENT
Baseline phase: Measure the target behavior at the same time of day for at least 5 days and enter your observation in the table daily.
Intervention phase: After the baseline phase, start the intervention and continue for at least 14 days. Continue measuring the target behavior and entering your observation in the table daily.
