Discuss the rise to power of Fascist regimes in one of the three paradigmatic cases we have studied (Italy and Spain) using the “formula for Fascism” we have articulated in class (Reactionary concepts + Social anomie in selected social groups + Specific historical –political, economic, social, cultural- circumstances).

cases we have studied (Italy and Spain) using the “formula for Fascism” we have articulated in class (Reactionary concepts + Social anomie in selected social groups + Specific historical –political, economic, social, cultural- circumstances).

What were the unique characteristics of Fascist ideology in the country you have chosen (mix of reactionary and revolutionary concepts)? On what social classes did the emerging Fascists base their support upon? What were the specific issues in the political and economic system of your case study that permitted Fascist parties to thrive? Please base your discussion on the materials we have used in class and illustrate with examples from the movies we have studied for each country.

OR….Please pick any given policy of any given fascist regime and analyze it in depth
(intellectual origins, implementation, legacy).
Examples of such policy would include>
1) Environmental policies
2) Racial policies
3) Religious policies
4) Economic policies: public infraestructure
5) Educational policies: propaganda, etc.
6) Foreign policyPlease discuss the rise to power of Fascist regimes in one of the three paradigmatic cases we have studied (Italy, Germany and Spain) using the “formula for Fascism” we have articulated in class (Reactionary concepts + Social anomie in selected social groups + Specific historical –political, economic, social, cultural- circumstances). PS: In class we’ve only spoken about Mussolini and Francisco Franco.

So you can have an idea of the tone of the paper I added a paper I did for the same class down below.

I also added a couple documents that should help with the assignment.

Thanks for the help 🙂

Discuss whether you think the articles present a problem in contemporary media or not, and if so, what do you see as a way to address the issues, or what may come in the future.

Carson, A. (1995). The Gender of Sound
Daniel, D. (2011). All Sound is Queer
Quashie, K. (2017). The Quiet of Blackness
These articles are written to shine a light on the generally unquestioned nature of “sound.” These writings address feminism, queerness, and black identity respectively. The themes are heavy, however, there should be little to find offensive in these works (Daniel [2011] does use a self-referential slur
once).
The point of having you read these articles is to consider a sense (hearing/sound) that is often taken for granted and view it through a lens other than your own. You might disagree with what you read, or you might not fully make sense of what is written, and that is okay. I mainly want to expose you to ideas that you may have not considered.
The articles differ in tone: Carson (1995) is a rebuttal to the historical silencing of women, citing work as far back as ancient Greece. Daniel (2011) is an abstract, at times dreamlike, questioning of how sound can be gendered at all. Quashie (2017) reflects on what it means to be black in media, particularly music, in an almost memoir fashion.

1) Read the provided articles and summarize what you think the authors are trying to convey.
2) Find an artist who fits into one of these categories and discuss an important work of theirs through the lens provided by one of the authors. For example:

A) How does “Old Town Road” by Lil’ Nas X, an openly gay artist, question the classically masculine idea of the cowboy western?
B) Was the placing of Britney Spears into a conservatorship an example of a female artist being treated differently than a male artist? (i.e. If Justin Timberlake had shaved his head, would he have faced a similar reaction?)
3) Discuss whether you think the articles present a problem in contemporary media or not, and if so, what do you see as a way to address the issues, or what may come in the future.
You only have to discuss the article you choose, however, you might find it useful to consider the articles together – they share an underlying theme of identity, and it might help your thought process if you consider them all.
4) You should properly cite any sources you use in your paper. I use APA formatting, to which you can find a guide here at the Purdue Online Writing Center. If you are more comfortable with another citation format, you may use that instead.

Write a comprehensive clinical report starting with a description of all 28 category headings from the Youth Comprehensive Assessment (see attached), based on the case of Amy (see attached).

1.) Write a comprehensive clinical report starting with a description of all 28 category headings from the Youth Comprehensive Assessment (see attached), based on the case of Amy (see attached).

2.) When you believe there is insufficient or missing information for any of the sections, list what information you would find necessary for the case of Amy and discuss its significance to the case. (Ie: how might this missing information influence your thinking of the case?) Back up your arguments with some evidence from your notes or researched evidence from readings. Place these comments in the sections that is missing, marking it as “missing information”. All sections from the assessment need to be addressed.

3.) Conclude your report with the following sections:

A.) Problems that Need to be Addressed: This is your conclusion of which symptoms and/or problem areas need to be addressed to help the child. Include a statement after it says “as evidence by” … “as evidence by” means give specific observable behaviors from the case that supports its specific problem (for ex.: Problem: Anxious – as evidence by: biting her nails every day)

B.)Next, write a clinical formulation. Make sure that you do not just describe Amy’s problems or background information but also speculate on how her problems developed and how they are maintained. Explain and interpret the reasons for Amy’s problems, tying together the various details of this case and backing it up with researched evidence.

C.) Diagnostic Section (using DSM-5 format, ie: specify disorder names and their codes). Give details of your thinking as to how you reached any complete diagnoses or reached any rule-out/tentative ones. Again, back up your ideas with researched evidence.

D.) Multi-method assessment: Based on your research of the literature and what we have learned in class, provide a list of formal assessment devices you would consider using in order to assess any aspect of this case. Place under the heading: Further Evaluations Needed. This section must include: 1) the name of the tests/procedures, 2) why you would use them, 3) what type of results you would expect, 4) and the significance of these results for the case of Amy.

E) List your treatment goals. The treatment goals must match your problems that you need to be addressed sections. one way to figure out a treatment goal is to ask yourself, “what will the client look like or be doing if not experiencing this problem?”, Therefore, do NOT write “Client will be less depressed”, but instead “Client will use positive statements” or “Client will engage in two pleasurable activities per day” – specific, observable and measurable goals)

Sections 2, B, and C require citations from as many sources as you would like to use. Must be empirical sources.
The more assessment you use the better! (The use of a clinical interview also counts as a form of assessment)
