Briefly explain your method being sure to include descriptions of both independent variables and the dependent variable.
Please accept only if you can follow directions VERY CAREFULLY AND PRECISELY: Before starting to work on this: The idea including variables and how the study will be run, needs to be run by the professor. so please send me the idea as soon as you have one. Then, when I get back with an okay, the professor wants the introduction piece sent to him and approved before doing the entire paper to make sure it is being done correctly. Please let me know you understand this and will follow accordingly.
The final paper in this course is a research proposal of an original factorial design study on any topic in Psychology. The goals of the paper are to demonstrate your ability to:
1. select, understand and explain 2 research articles from the Psychology literature, (peer reviewed)
2. formulate an original research idea based on those articles and
3. design a 2 x 2 factorial design.
Your design must include at least 1 IV that is manipulated – the other may be a participant-variable or a second manipulated variable. BE SPECIFIC on how you will manipulate variables and be specific on the results.
Write this as if it were a grant proposal – convince reviewers that your project is worth their grant money.
Introduction:
Define & describe the topic of your proposal. This must be based on the literature.
Summarize two research articles that are related to your topic. Two paragraphs for each article – main points. Focus on information from the articles
that is directly related to your proposal.
State the purpose of your study.
Explain the rationale for your study, based on the literature. How did the findings or ideas in these articles lead to your proposed study?
Briefly explain your method being sure to include descriptions of both independent variables and the dependent variable.
State your hypotheses – you must predict an interaction and depending on the interaction, you may also have a main effect.
Method:
Participants:
Describe who would be in the study, the number of participants you think you would need to have enough power in the design and any restrictions on who could be in the study.
Materials:
Describe in detail how you would operationally define your variables. This must be as detailed as if you were actually going to carry out the study. If it is appropriate, find a scale or measure in the literature to measure your dependent variable instead of creating one.
Procedure:
Describe the proposed design and explain step-by-step what participants would do in your study.
Results:
You will not have any actual data to analyze, but you need to explain how it would be done.
Operationally define your dependent variable – explain the possible range of scores and if appropriate, explain how you would measure reliability.
Explain how you would test your hypotheses (using a 2 x 2 ANOVA) and the results you would expect if your hypotheses were supported.
Be sure to mention the Figure and include the Figure after the Reference page.
Discussion:
Re-state the purpose of your experiment and the hypotheses.
Explain how you would interpret your findings if your hypotheses were supported.
Discuss any limitations with the research.
End with the conclusion you would draw from your study assuming it was successful.

What is an economic recession, and what are the three major policy strategies for coping with them?
Describe each feature, including any benefits and challenges associated with them, and how each feature relates to the others.
2. What is an economic recession, and what are the three major policy strategies for coping with them? Explain how these strategies work and their drawbacks.
3. How does American tax policy compare to other OECD countries? Provide details. Why compare to OECD countries?
4. Overall, would the U.S. tax structure be categorized as regressive, progressive, or proportional? Why is ability to pay a significant constraint on taxation? What are some other constraints?
5. About how often does the U.S. undergo tax reform? Discuss BBLR as a reform strategy.
Discuss in terms of your study in this course, how might you know that you are at a point of diminishing returns, or where more study will not benefit you like it did before?
Another important law in economics is the “law of marginal returns or the law of increasing costs”. Discuss in terms of your study in this course, how might you know that you are at a point of diminishing returns, or where more study will not benefit you like it did before? Can you identify any of the costs discussed in this lesson in your decision about how much study is enough?

Explain the results with the IR (include the spectrum in here), the melting point (was it pure or not?
– Explain the results in two parts.
Part I will include the saponification, explain and show the mechanism. Explain the results with the IR (include the spectrum in here), the melting point (was it pure or not? Remember that the narrower the range is, the purer the compound is), and yield.
Part II will include today’s information. Explain and show the esterification mechanism. Explain the results of IR, show and explain the functional groups you should see, and compare it with the previous one.
