Which were the main factors that led to the economic crisis? Students will analyze and synthesize the information they gathered from different sources about the main causes of the economic crisis in the topic of their choice. Students will discuss the relative importance of each cause using the theoretical frameworks studied in class. For the first two topics ( the Fed’s Monetarist Experiment: 1981-1982 and Stagflation: 1973 to 1980) the relevant theoretical framework is the Aggregate Supply and Aggregate Demand Model. For the last two topics (the German Hyperinflation: 1922-1923 and the Zimbabwean Hyperinflation: 2007-2008) the relevant theoretical framework is the Quantity Theory of Money.
CONSEQUENCES: How did the economic crisis affect the lives of people and businesses? Students will explain the effect of the crisis on the lives of people and businesses.

What are the challenges to successfully planning, leading, and operationalizing projects, and what can be done to ensure success?

What are the challenges to successfully planning, leading, and operationalizing projects, and what can be done to ensure success?
This assignment can be submitted as either a Powerpoint file (approx. 15 slides with notes) or a MS Word document (6-8 pages plus title and reference page).Students will assume the role of a consulting team hired by an organization to assess a real world project. The team will select the company and project.
The first part of the team’s work is to explain why an Agile project methodology should be used rather than Waterfall. Once that is clearly articulated, the team must present a “Top-10” list of Agile project challenges commonly faced by project managers and how to overcome each challenge.
These challenges may be management related or leadership related, they may be project discipline specific or related to team dynamics, or all of the above and more. Essentially, what are the challenges to successfully planning, leading, and operationalizing projects, and what can be done to ensure success?
