1. What events and people are considered part of the official historical record and why? Whose perspectives are prioritized, omitted, or distorted?
2. How do worldviews shape the construction of history? For example, in what ways could binary thinking or viewing time as linear construct a particular view of history?
3. What counts as valid historical evidence and to whom? Can multiple, perhaps contradictory, histories exist simultaneously?
4. How has your ethnic, cultural, and/or racial group’s history been represented in textbooks, the media, and the popular imagination?
