Choose an infectious disease

Review the information in Chapter 10 of Epidemiology 101.
Review previous Workshop readings, materials, exercises, and videos.
Research various infectious diseases to choose an infectious disease topic for your paper.
Choose an infectious disease (excluding COVID-19) to compose a comprehensive scholarly paper that includes the following:
A title page, An introduction
Approximately 10-15 pages, not including the title page, references, or addendums (if used).
The epidemiological triangle and explanations of the disease, disease agent, host characteristics, environment, transmission, and outbreak investigation (if applicable).
How data would be collected for an outbreak of this disease or to screen for the presence of the infectious disease.
Where and how the data would be reported.
A plan for how to inform the public about the disease occurrence and/or prevention of transmission of the disease.
A discussion regarding how to disseminate and treat the public with cultural competence including related factors regarding health literacy, social determinants, health beliefs.
Citations/references used for all statements of fact presented in the paper.
There should be a minimum of 5 references from scholarly sources and within the past 7 years of publication.

The paper must follow APA 7th edition guidelines for the formatting of the paper, headers, citations, references.
