In this class, you are required to do 30 points on the Civic Scorecard. You can do up to 50 more points for extra credit. For each 10 points of extra credit from the Scorecard, one percentage point will be added to your final grade for the course. Besides gaining points for class, through the work on this scorecard, you can also work towards an award recognized by iCED and Miami Dade College.
The Scorecard is a tool to guide students, professors and the Miami community through diverse action items to grow and strengthen their vital participation in the civic life of our community.
