Company Hiring Survey

Instructions
Imagine you are in charge of hiring new employees for your organization, and are considering implementing personality testing as part of the hiring process. Before outsourcing this testing to a service provider which will be costly, you have decided to write your own personality questions to see if it something that applicants feel comfortable answering and thus a worthwhile investment.

Steps to Complete
Come up with 10 survey items like the ones found in Chapter 9 OB Assessments of your textbook to measure each of the Big 5 traits. You should create two items for each of the Big 5 traits. Be sure to create new items that are different than the ones found in Chapter 9, and try to make your items as valid as possible.

Each item should use a 1-5 rating scale (1 = strongly disagree, 2 = disagree, 3 = neutral, 4 = agree, 5 = strongly agree).
Each item should be labeled with its Big Five trait and numbered (e.g., Conscientiousness Item 1, Conscientiousness Item 2).
In your opinion, should personality tests be used for hiring? Why is that?
Create a Word document and name it using the following convention: YourName-M4-assignment.
On the Word document, answer the prompts listed above in about 1-2 pages.
