Comparative Slavery

Instructions to follow:
One of the most difficult aspects of all of American History is a discussion of the role that slavery (both African Slavery and Indentured Servitude) played in maintaining the economies of Europe, the America’s and Africa. None the less, it is an important history to understand and will become increasingly important as this course moves forward in American life through the Civil War.

For your first writing assignment, I would like you to read both of the sources below in the module, one is an account of a slave, one is the account of a slave, the other an account of an indentured servant.

THEN write a TWO page paper that compares their experiences. Both are in essence slaves, property of someone else who come to America for the purpose of hard labor.
In this paper, Identify some similarities and differences in their experiences and lastly, explain how their experiences might impact American going forward.
