Comparing Davids

In this module, you’ve seen a few examples of artists approaching similar themes in different ways. In your reading, “The Renaissance” by Marie Porterfield Barry, you learned about three sculptures of the Biblical hero, David, created by three different artists over a nearly 200-year period. You will notice there are both similarities and differences in style, formal elements and principles, media, and content. In this writing assignment, compare and contrast these Davids, using your terms from the first three modules. What David is your favorite, and why? Use your formal terminology to back up your thoughts and feelings about these three important works!
Grading
This paper will be graded on content, not length. That being said, each writing assignment will be 300 words (this is about one page in Times New Roman, 12 pt, double spaced), and this minimum word count must be met to earn full points.
This is not a research paper, so you do not need to use any sources outside the course materials. This should be your own work, based on your own observations and your understanding of the material and vocabulary in the module. Do not plagiarize (see the syllabus for more information on this).
