In the thesis a comparison of the available international guidelines on postpartum care should be made. The introduction should include all relevant definitions such as postpartum period, the complications encountered during this period and address the need for comprehensive guidelines regarding the postpartum care. In the material and methods section, it should be stated how the search of the literature was contacted and which guidelines were identified and chosen for the comparison. A comparison table should be created between all the elements to be compared e.g. assessment of risk of depression postpartum, and the different societies. In the discussion, the differences and similarieties between the different sociaties should be discussed and the significance of each element analysed (e.g. percentage of women having undiagnosed postpartum depression). In the conclusion, a proposal of guidelines for a country which currently doesn’t have any guidelines on these issues should be included describing the optimal postpartum care based on the available evidence and existing guidelines.
