Comparison of two assessment tools (1500 words) (15%)
You will provided with a short scenario about a client. Information will be given regarding some of the client’s occupational performance issues. For this assessment task you will be required to critically analyse and appraise two clinical assessment tools that could potentially be used to assess the client’s occupational performance issues, in preparation for goal setting and intervention planning. Note that this AT relates directly to the material presented to you on Assessments in week one. You will need to follow the steps outlined below:
1. Be allocated by the unit coordinator which scenario and assessment tools you will be appraising
2. Appraise each assessment tool individually using the headings outlined below
3. Compare and contrast the two assessment tools and justify which tool would be most appropriate to use to address the client’s occupational performance issues
