For this assignment, you will design a new product or line extension in the consumer goods industry (anything you buy at a
retailer) by specifying its target market, marketing mix elements, and points of difference.
You will come up with a new product idea or a product line extension based on your personal experiences as a consumer and
your new role as a marketer. When designing your new product, be as creative as possible. However, your assignment must
address the requirements and expectations outlined in the Designing a New Product file. You will be addressing each item in
the Designing a New Product Handout chart y on page 3 of this Word document, so you will need to download it in order to
complete and submit this assignment.
