Write a 1,500-word concert report about the event that you attended. Using the skills learned in this class, write descriptively about the elements and other characteristics of the compositions performed, the characteristics and skills of the performers at the event, and your personal reflection on the event.

Outline of the Final Project:
a. Concert attended, date, location, length of concert
b. Compositions performed: who were the composers? What are their titles? If they are multi-movement works, what are the movement titles?
c. Performers: what was the name of the ensemble? What were the names of the performers?
d. Which instruments were played in this concert?
e. Describe the compositions performed using the terms we have studied in this class: rhythm, pitch, volume, articulation, timbre, texture, form, etc.
f. Describe the compositions performed using any other terms we have studied in this class, including but not limited to: mimesis, quotation, musical topic, etc.
g. Describe the behavior of the performers and audience. What kind of behavior expectations/traditions/rituals do performers and audience members bring to a concert like this? (For example, applause — you may choose to write about the etiquette of when to applaud at a classical concert.)
