After completing your technical report, you are now tasked with
preparing a presentation that summarizes the measures you have taken to
improve the security architecture of the information system. The
presentation is intended for an audience of high-ranking managers within
your organization.
You receive an email from Col. Ekson providing details of the
presentation, once again offering to review it prior to the meeting with
upper-level management.

Subject: Preparation and Submission of Your Presentation
I have been instructed to inform you that Commander Garrett and her
family are well, but she will be away from this unit for some
time. During this situation, I want to thank you for staying on track
and submitting your technical report.
You will now you need to develop a presentation for
the organization’s leadership. Please prepare a narrated (include audio)
presentation/slide deck. You have been allotted 10–15 minutes to
present, followed by time to answer questions from the audience.
Do not copy your technical report into slides. Instead, use headlines
and phrases to emphasize the main points of your research.
Keep it simple. It is better to have a few bullets with a few words
per bullet to get your point across. Allow 2–3 minutes per slide and
have one slide per the main point. Support your main points with
appropriate details, examples, or additional information.
Conclude with your recommendation. The audience
are our decision-makers, and they will be looking at your recommendation
for clear guidance. Be thorough in this deliverable.
If you would like some feedback prior to presenting—I always do—I’d be happy to look over it and give some guidance.
Col. Ekson
Send your draft presentation to Col. Ekson for review and
feedback. (As always, your instructor will stand in for Colonel Ekson in
this course.) In the next step, you will make any necessary
adjustments to your report and presentation, then submit both in their
final form.
