Conduct an hour-long interview with the manager using your interview guide. After the interview, prepare a comprehensive paper based on what you have learned from the interview with the manager. Your paper should include the following:
An explanation was to how you selected your topic.
A brief background of the manager’s experience and how they became managers. Start your paper by naming and describing the manager in a few sentences.
Compare and contrast what you have learned during the interview to your course learning. Be specific and reference course concepts.
Most likely, the manager will address issues he/she regularly experiences. After reflecting on those problems, consider yourself a management consultant and offer potential solutions.
Include your interview guide and the manager’s contact information at the end of the paper in a single appendix (which does not count toward your page limit.) Put the header “Appendix” at the top of the page.
Do not repeat your questions in the paper and this should not be formatted in a Q & A style.
Outside sources are not required
Your paper should be a minimum of 6 -8 pages with 1inch margins, double spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font
