The historical survey of this course has introduced several important periods in the development of worship practices. For this paper, you will choose a particular movement, group, or individual of significance in the history of worship to discuss in greater depth. You choice does not necessarily need to be confined to those figures or groups studied in the course thus far, but it does need to be a subject directly related to a particular form or movement of worship.
In this paper, you will research the worship practices of a particular movement, group, or individual of your choosing. The paper should consist of: (1) a summary of your selected topic and its background; (2) a summary of the worship practices of the selected topic; and (3) a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of this particular approach. The paper must meet the following criteria:
• Minimum length: 8 pages (excluding title page, table of contents, and bibliography), roughly corresponding to 2 pages on background, 3 pages on worship practices, and 3-4 pages on strengths/weaknesses.
• Conform to current Turabian style, including 1-inch margins, 12-point font, and Times New Roman or Calibri font style.
• Include Introduction and Conclusion paragraphs and appropriate section headings throughout the paper.
• Contain 4 scholarly sources related to your topic.
