Connection between drugs, rehab, and homelessness.

11 pages (total) essay due at the end of the semester May 6th – a) 3-4
page literature review and b)1-3 page methodology and c) a half page
ethical statement (in this case- it will be easy for you to say that your
research was conducted in a non-obtrusive manner which did not
require you to engage living beings for your research).
ARCHIVAL RESEARCH (ONLINE):
Archival sources can be manuscripts, documents, records (including electronic
records), objects, sound and audiovisual materials, or other materials.
examples of archival research sources are census records or survey data that was
collected in the past
and/or
MEDIA or SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT ANALYSIS:
Media content analysis is the deconstruction of pieces of media with tendency towards
either quantitative or qualitative research methods. … Media content analysis looks
directly at communication via texts or transcripts, and hence gets at the central aspect
of social interaction. This can consist of analyzing certain social media influencers or TV
or FILM or MUSIC genre analysis.

Each essay must be researched – utilizing multiple sources (using citations), and
addressing a critical analysis of 3- academic works referenced in the course, using the
components of the comparative method.
This will be an ongoing assif=gnment. Methodologies will be due by March 18th
When I chose the subject “The connection of drugs, rehab, and homelessness” I received this response :
it would be good to get statistical and/or archival data on drugs use and homelessness —but is your question – “do rehabs curb drug abuse?” or is your question “do rehabs solve drug abuse and/or homelessness as well?” —-then of course – how are you defining rehab? as in an informal AA (or NA) group or a more formal medical facility?—–you would need to read up on the connections of these 3 components. I will let you choose.
