Directions: Reflections Journal
All Journal Entries for this course will have the same set of directions ..described below.
1-3 pages EACH entry. Late entries will not be accepted.
Considering the emotionally charged and potentially personal nature of the content areas and discussion in this course, as well as the literature that suggests the benefits of journaling in the prevention of vicarious trauma, all students will be required to keep a personal reflection journal in which they record their reactions to course content and experiences.
You are asked to write one reflection per week (most weeks) with your thoughts and ideas based on your preparation for that class/week and reactions to content and discussions.
Also, Include a brief discussion about your progress with your self-care plan…even if there has been no progress.
